Personality : Seems a bit childish but that's only the outside, in the inside she really cares about the important things and is always concerned about work and the others because she has no siblings.

Nags at people because she cares for them, she's always ready for new challenges, she is truly an optimist person and is someone that is always ready to hear other people and give advice; she's somewhat "dorky", always tripping over herself and bumping into people/objects.

But because not everything is good, even though she can be hardworking and caring, she can also be a lazy and she’s a bit spoiled and egoist for being an only child. She’s stubborn, thus has some difficulty accepting other people’s opinions if they’re different from hers. She’s perfectionist, maybe sometimes too much. Frequently pushes herself to the limit.

Background : Min Ah was born in Portugal, but was brought young to Seoul. During school she always revealed interest in the show business, often participating in school plays, music recitals and having a small dance group with her classmates. One day, on 2006, she was practicing outside and was spotted by a SM representative and was invited to the castings. However she didn’t pass them, so she tried her luck in JYP Entertainment. She trained there for 3 years and during the last two she practiced under the supervision of Rain in J. Tune Entertainment. Then she was recruited in late 2009 by YOONique Ent.

Likes : having nails painted, hiding hands in sleeves, high heel shoes, high top sneakers, pizza

Dislikes : dishonesty, insects, seafood, not having battery on her iPhone, being compared

Hobbies : writing, doing nail art, reading, browsing the web

Trivias : has an abnormally large collection of several different hoodies, has done clothing photoshoots prior to debut, has been spotted during several occasions always holding onto her iPhone and with big headphones on (during trainee days), goes for a walk on the beach whenever possible, is said to be the most energetic member of the group

Eventually they became very good friends, for Min Ah constantly searched him for advice and guidance and Seungho enjoyed tutoring her.

Kim Hyoyeon || 23 || Singer || The girls met when Min Ah went to the SM Castings; at the time SNSD hadn’t debuted yet (2006). Min Ah lost herself in the building and Hyoyeon kindly accompanied her to the casting room. After knowing she hadn’t passed, Hyoyeon consoled Min Ah and encouraged her to move on and try other companies if she wanted to be in the show business that bad. Since then they became friends and speak to each other regularly.

How did you guys meet :

Min Ah met G.O when she started training in J. Tune Ent. Even though she was younger than him, he was impressed by her powerful voice. Just like Seungho, he intended to be a good tutor in music, but she seemed a bit reluctant in letting him help her.

Eventually she started opening up to him and they would work on beautiful melodies together, as a duet and sometimes with Seungho and the rest of MBLAQ.

Why did you like him : he was always ready to help out (even if he did start their relationship with the wrong foot because of some not so nice pranks), he really made an effort for their friendship, he was excessively amiable, his powerful voice fascinated her, he was there to cheer her up when she lost confidence.

Back up love Interest : Kim Jonghyun || 22 || Singer || fascinating, kind, his voice entices Min Ah

Relationship :

Before the debut, is as stated before; they trained together and their friendship grew from there (such as Min Ah’s crush).

During the debut, even though she’s busy, she tries to keep in contact as much as she can, but sometimes it’s too much to handle. However, she misses talking to him and does everything possible and impossible to try and fit her schedule into his so that they can meet.
