Dear Dara Unnie,

                            Happy 2ne9 Birthday to you! I hope you will have a wonderful day to celebrate your birthday. You may be one of the sought after korean idol now but you will always be the same ‘Krung-krung’ we first met. It’s amazing how you still manage to be humble and down to earth despite your success internationally. I’m so proud to be one of your fans and I will always be. The way you treat your fans as one of your family member is enough for me to hold on and to continue supporting you. We do wish you’ll still have projects here in the Philippines when you’re given the chance. I don’t know how you manage to change bits of me even if we haven’t met or talk personally. You’re one of the few idols who radiates such genuine smile to fans like us. When you came here to Albay, I cried miserably. Why? Sto. Domingo is just a few meters away from us but due to certain circumstances I can’t go and see you in person. I was crying silently at night not wanting my parents to see me. They might just laugh at me because of being so silly. In school, I didn’t hide my sadness but my friends tried to cheer me up by singing one of your songs. I have influenced my classmates into liking kpop. Whenever they hear something about kpop they would inform me especially when it comes to Bigbang and 2ne1 since i’m a die hard YG Stan. I love how you are a family oriented person by showing your undying love especially to Thunder oppa and your cute little cat. During those hard times when I can’t trust anyone, I would just look at your pictures and act as if we are having a conversation. Don’t worry, i’m not out of my mind. Ke ke ke. You made me laugh at your dorkiness and I would always wonder if a girl like you don’t have any problem since I always see you if not smiling, you are laughing. But deep inside me, I know that there are many things that is bothering you. You might read or hear some of the negative comments and criticisms from other people but I hope that you won’t let them affect you hardcore. Don’t give them reasons to rejoice because you showed them that you’re affected instead use that criticisms to change yourself to become a better Dara. You’re one of my idols who showed that the quote ‘Sacrifice first before Glory’ is real. You have sacrificed alot to achieve your dream and through out your fight always remember that we are always at your back ready to cheer you on when you suddenly want to give up. You are lucky enough to have to have supportive friends like CL unnie, Bom unnie and Minzy and of course the rest of your YG family.

You will always be a gem that shines the most because of you working hard. It has been my dream to meet you and the girls and the rest of your YG Family and I hope that time will come soon. Continue to be the human vitamin as you are, continue to be the PR director who never miss a chance to spoil blackjack like us, continue to be the Dara who makes things imposible to possible one. Continue to be a blessing to others. Continue to show us the Dara we love. I may not have a present for you but I hope that my sincerity with writing this letter will do.. We love you Dara unnie!
