Onstage personality:
Once the curtains open and the lights brighten, MyeongHwa immediately becomes the Queen. With a very much arrogant and fierce rapping style, it isn't a surprise that many people are instantly drawn to her. Along with her very strong and rather raspy vocals, she can easily turn anyone's attention to her once she starts singing. She is as high and mighty as any form of royalty once she's on stage. MyeongHwa reasons out that the stage is her palace because this is where she feels she belongs and as a Queen, she should bring to the people the best of her palace or in this case, the best performance. And her key to having a great performance? Having fun and spreading music. One of the most valuable things she learned from YG was to always have fun on stage and make sure the audience feels the fun.
Off stage personality:
Off goes the lights and down goes the curtains. Finally, MyeongHwa tunes down her femme fatale image and goes back to simply being MyeongHwa. In contrast to her on-stage image, MyeongHwa is very humble and out going off-stage. She's more quiet and a lot simple. Without all the silver studs, the y outfits and the dramatic makeup, MyeongHwa seems like the type of person you could easily pass by on the streets and of course, her easy going personality makes it even easier to approach her. Though it may not seem that way because of some of her attires or her usually scary and chic look but when you just see her on a casual day, don't be shy to talk to her or ask for an autograph. She holds her fans in a high pedestal on her heart so, go on!
After the high speed raps and lung clenching notes, you'd think MyeongHwa would be tired of speaking after a performance but oh god, she's not done yet. MyeongHwa is the type of girl that always has something to say whether it's about the new cafe down the street or a great story she heard a few days ago, MyeongHwa will never forget to tell you something. She's obviously a chatter-box but she's also a great story teller. MyeongHwa has an awesome imagination and she thinks of the best plots and fairytales ever. No wonder her lyrics always seem to have so much meanings.
Other than those stuff, MyeongHwa is a dorky kid off-stage. She's really cheerful and really into jokes. Like no matter how corny it is, she will laugh cause omg i dont know but she just does. It's probably because of she loves to laugh a lot. For example, if she makes a mistake, she laughs; if she trips or bumps into something (which is often), she laughs (even on stage); if a hater sends hate mail to her, she just laughs it off (and replies with a witty answer). Kinda far from the y and cool rapper we see on stage huh? But yeah, that's just her, that's MyeongHwa.
When it comes to making decisions and making music though, MyeongHwa acts more like Queen. She becomes serious and tries to balance out all options and most of the time, she would look scary even if she's not scowling. But she honestly says that she does get a bit irritated when someone annoys her while she's writing a song or thinking of the schedule for the group. She takes the role of being a Leader very seriously so don't piss her off cause this woman can spit out a hundred words a minute. Another thing that upsets her is when her members get hurt or get in trouble. She hates that because she's afraid of what may happen to them, their image and their group so she always makes sure, along with Nina, that everything is in a straight line.
Like a leader should be, MyeongHwa is very much understanding and patient when it comes to her members' childishness and often playfulness. Most of the time, she just laugh along or plays along with everything and tries not to get into one of their pillow or tickling fights. In these times, she tries to be like her mother who is always calm and collected which usually fails once someone tickles her or sends her laughing.
MyeongHwa isn't much of a romanticist and obviously, she doesn't know much about romance. She's also very oblivious to feelings near that stuff but her lyrics say otherwise. When she writes about romance, everyone can easily relate. Whenever she's asked about this, she just says she's watched and read too many romantic stuff and that's why she can easily portray a love story. Background:
MyeongHwa was born and raised in Incheon where she spent most of her free time lounging by the sea or walking in the park with a notebook and a pen. She did this everytime she finished her homework or had a free day. She was an average student back then and people had always told her she could do so much better if she spent more of her time studying rather than walking around town. MyeongHwa and parents thought that it was fine for her to go lounging about as long as she would keep her grades up. And of course, she did. MyeongHwa graduated middle school with honors and was one of the school's priced singers.
She was finally discovered one day in the park when she was writing songs and practicing her raps. A talent scout from YG Ent. had offered her an audition the next Saturday to which she happily agreed to. Her parents, albeit a bit worried, supported her on her audition. When she got accepted, she immediately bid the sea-side town goodbye and moved to the dorms of YG.
Although MyeongHwa learned a lot from the company and was assured with popularity by the time she debuts, MyeongHwa was unsatisfied so she asked for a transfer. The company had offered her many things just to not have her transfer but she was set on moving. In the end, YG sent her over to TS, which was at that time, looking for promising trainees. And after 4 years of training in both companies, she finally debuted in a group.

Father: Jin JongHwa - 47 - Architect - alive
He's the sweet appa, the one who always supports his little girl and dots on her as much as he can. He's also the type to be a clingy protective dad and always makes sure nothing bad is happening to MyeongHwa. But, he can also be very serious especially when it comes to MyeongHwa's future. He doesn't want anything bad happening to any of his family so he's always one for safety, also one to never forget to equip MyeongHwa with pepper spray and teasers as a teenager.
MyeongHwa and JongHwa share a sweet and rather funny relationship. Instead of becoming spoiled with her dad always dotting on her, MyeongHwa is actually irritated by his constant worries and tries her best to calm her down. But of course, that wouldn't work. This would often cause a bit of bickering between the two. In the end, the dad looses cause mom thinks MyeongHwa is a lot more reasonable.
Mother: Jin KyungMi - 46 - Pediatrician - alive
She's the woman that keeps everything inside the Jin residence in perfect order. She's the one that calms the two crazies inside the house and balances everything. Usually, because she's always on neutral grounds, she makes most of the final decisions. She's also a rather strict woman but nothing to fret, she's not one to shout at people or do anything bad. She's patient and understanding, probably why she's so good with kids and people who act like kids.
KyungMi and MyeongHwa share a lot more sane relationship that MyeongHwa and her dad. These two enjoy shopping or helping each other out in the clinic as KyungMi attends to her patients. Sometimes, these two can be found in charity events as both have the usual love for helping out.

Best Friend: Yoo HanByeol - 21 - college student/author
Small but terrible. This is HanByeol. She may seem sweet but she's jam-packed with all the brutality of the cold war. Well, okay, she's nice and sweet and easy to talk to when in civil conversations but once MyeongHwa starts joking around with her and well, kind of annoys her, it's hell. She's also very emotional or bi-polar. I dunnow. She just tends to become so emotional over the smallest things and then she gets angry over the tiniest stuff and then she laughs afterwards. I mean, what?!
These two have been childhood best friends. During MyeongHwa's stay in Seoul, she often contacted HanByeol to tell her about everything that's been happening or ask her how to do things. These two tend to tell each other lots of stories and share ideas and opinion a lot. But once they start joking around, MyeongHwa usually walks out of the conversation-turned-fight with bruises. Yes, MyeongHwa's the idiot in this friendship. Oh well, they're both fine with it. Whatever goes, whatever goes.

SanDara is a sweet yet fun girl who's always ready with some joke of stunt to make you laugh. She's childish despite being one of the eldest and kinda naive to things. She's one to love romance stuff and gush about chick flicks. She's also very much into cute stuff and even acts cute at times but oh well, she looks the part anyway.
These two met back when MyeongHwa was still a trainee. The moment MyeongHwa let out a burst of laughter when Dara said some joke, they both knew they were gonna get along well. Dara acts out as an older sister and a younger sister to MyeongHwa at the same time. Dara is always giving MyeongHwa pointers but once she's bored, she tends to pester MyeongHwa like a kid.
Friend: Bang Yongguk - 23 - member of boy group B.A.P
Yongguk is a rather dorky yet quiet type of guy. Even if he looks really tough and scary, he's actually very sweet and caring. He's naturally humble and very passionate about music and his group. Yongguk also enjoys being with others despite him always being quiet or laid back. He's the type to always have his friends' back and support them everytime they make a choice.
These two go way back to when both were stil trainees. They both took rapping classes and often shared opinion and ideas over songs and lyrics. These two enjoy a long afternoon spent inside the recording room, creating songs and discussing different topics.

Kris is often seen as very charismatic and intimidating, kind of like MyeongHwa on stage but honestly, he's a really sheepish guy who attemps and fails at being funny. Thus earning him a description of being dorky. He's always trying to break out of the common image of him being scary and fierce. And thankfully the fans see his effort in these things.
Kris is also the type to support s a lot. He's seen as the older brother, the one everyone talks to when they're feeling down or when they're sad. Kris doesn't mind. He feels relieved that s are able to talk to him about these things and is happy when he can help. He's a great leader and always feels the need to keep strong and set and example for s.
Anyways, back to the otehr side of oh-so-cool Wu Fan. Even though not many know, Kris is actually very fond of kids. He enjoys playing with them and even talking to them. No matter how scary he might be, Kris is a softie for children and nothing can change that. He also tends to be very biased towards them so yeah, no matter how right you are, if you're against a kid, Kris will always take the younger one's side.
Another fact about this guy is that he actually enjoys reading. Good-looking, sweet and intellectual? What more could you ask for? Kris is the type of guy who enjoys reading inspirational and self-improving books which are actually very good for a leader. Through this bookworm-ness of Kris, you could see that there's actually more to the usual hard image of EXO's leader.

Basically, these two were a bit awkward at first but because both were fairly good at talking and hated awkward moments, they agreed to break out of it as soon as they could through saying jokes and talking informally. It was funny, honestly. Because they seemed to communicate a lot better with being fools, they just acted freely around each other.
Around MyeongHwa, Kris acts very gentleman-like and makes sure that everything is completely in a good state. He's very much into making jokes around MyeongHwa especially when she's feeling down. And even though the joke wasn't funny, MyeongHwa laughs and that's probably why Kris loves to joke around her so much.

MyeongHwa is a complete lady-slash-kid around Kris. Because they have common images on stage, they undderstand how hard it is to be laid back and so MyeongHwa feels a lot more comfortable being a dork around him which includes talking about her random stories and experiences which Kris actually enjoys listening to as they are rather amusing. Also, MyeongHwa tends to do some aegyo around Kris, unknowingly by her of course which Kris thinks is rather cute.

How they act with you:
Lay acts more reserved around MyeongHwa at first but soon loosens up, mostly because of her constant pestering to relax and just be himself. He tends to let out his inner musician out more when he;s with MyeongHwa due to their common interest in the piano and how MyeongHwa is interested in playing the guitar also. Lay admits, that although he stays quiet around MyeongHwa that he is quite attracted to her easy-going charm.
How you behave around them:
MyeongHwa, at first was also a bit quiet around Lay but once the atmosphere grew too thick, she finally talked Lay up and persuaded him to be calmer around her since it might affect tthe baby. Once Lay finally got a lot more relaxed, it was obvious that thei relationship became a lot better. MyeongHwa often did most of the talking while Lay inserted some comments and a bit of his own experiences.

Obviously, SooJin likes Kris more because he's the definition of prince charming and although she seems a bit more hesitant with bonding with MyeongHwa, she actually also loves her a lot because of how much she puts effort into making her happy. Well, lets add in how SooJin thinks MyeongHwa's bedtime fairytale stories are the greatest things in the world and her piano skills are so lady-like. Also, MyeongHwa tends to take SooJin shopping a lot thus technically bribing her to favor her over Kris since he's always in China. The relationship between this family is actually rather cute. The progress starts with only Kris being able to communicate properly with SooJin then MyeongHwa telling SooJin all about fairytales and the bonding between the family especially when there's a tickle fight and in the end, MyeongHwa gets ganged up on.
On the other hand, ahem, SooJin, again, enjoys being with Lay more than MyeongHwa. This doesn't upset MyeongHwa though since she's been to many children houses and schools thus she knows it takes time to have a child trust you. But when MyeongHwa started playing the piano and singing to SooJin, she's finally captured her attention.
