♔Personality: Eunkyung is very kind, understanding, and caring. She likes to help people and she likes to take care of people who can't take care of themselves. She is responsible, though she hates to be. She's the type of person that needs control. She does not need to be in control, but if nobody else is in control, she will step up to the plate. She's a leader. She unknowingly takes care of hoobaes and dongsaengs, even if she doesn't like them. She enjoys hanging out with people younger than her because, on the inside, she's very young. Though she is mature, she enjoys doing things that teenagers would do, such as hanging out at the mall or swimming in the pool instead of going to a club and drinking like most people her age. Because she never had a true childhood of her own, she likes to make up for it by doing things that younger people would do. She tells jokes and teases people a lot, but she's always very loving. Even when she teases a child, she's their hair lovingly and they know that she's just kidding. Children love her, though she doesn't know why. Her friends tell her it's because she's motherly, but she doesn't believe so. To this day, Eunkyung will deny that she is motherly. She likes to think of herself as an older sister, not a mother.
Despite being a caring girl, Eunkyung will not take any crap. She will not stand by and let someone belittle or annoy her. She has a "three strike rule". If she tells you nicely to stop, and you don't listen - strike one. She'll tell you again, and you don't listen - strike two. One more time, annoyed now - strike three. Now, she's just done. She might yell or she might just walk away and ignore you. She's very serious about being annoyed, as she has no tolerance for it. She doesn't like to hurt people's feelings, but she will if she has to. If she feels bad about it, then she will apologize later after she's cooled down (which is most of the time). Eunkyung doesn't like saying no, so she's often seen as a doormat. But, she isn't one. She will stand up for herself or her friends in any situation. She's not a pushover and she hates being seen as one just because she tries to help people as much as she can. Eunkyung is very competitive and likes to win and be the best. She always works as hard as she can to make it to the top. She's happy for other people who beat her, but that only pushes her to work harder to beat them next time. Eunkyung hates losing, and while she puts a smile on her face and congratulates the winner, she hates every minute of it. Eunkyung tends to complain a lot, which annoys people. But, she doesn't realize that she's annoying. Usually, her best friend or sister tells her she's annoying, which causes her to yell at them for interrupting her. When she's finished ranting, she always says that she's sorry for annoying them, but she needed to get it out of her system.
When Eunkyung is tough on people, she always feels bad. But, she has no problem being tough on herself. She always sets her goals too high, which causes her to never reach them and then feel bad about herself. She knows that she does this, but she can't seem to stop. When she does reach her goal, she's happy, but not ecstatic. She believes that she should have reached it sooner. She's very critical of herself and more competitive with herself than anyone else. She's hard-working and determined to win over herself. She is stubborn too, as she likes to be right. Even if she's wrong, and she knows she's wrong, she'll keep acting like she's right. She doesn't like to listen to other people, which sometimes comes back to slap her in the face. She doesn't admit defeat though. The only time she will conform to others is when treating a patient. She doesn't like to make decisions for other people, only herself.
Eunkyung is, over everything else, a loyal friend. She will go to the ends of the Earth for her friends and family. She may only have two or three friends, but that's because she chooses her friends carefully. She will not be friends with someone who will stab her in the back. Eunkyung is good at reading people and understanding situations. Overall, Eunkyung is kind, caring, motherly, stubborn, self-critical, competitive, smart, and loyal.
♔Family background and history: Eunkyung was born in Boston, Massachusetts. Her father was a successful doctor and her mother was a stay-at-home mom. But, her mother was never a "real mom". She took care of Eunkyung and made sure she had enough to survive, but that's it. She never gave Eunkyung her love, and Eunkyung felt that. Her father was very kind and loved Eunkyung with all his heart, but Eunkyung wished for her mother's love too. She was extremely smart as a child, and she was able to pick up on things quickly. Her mother saw this, so when Eunkyung was five years old, she handed Eunkyung's little infant sister to her and said, "Take care of her." Her mother then walked out the door and never came back. Since then, Eunkyung has done what her mother told her...she took care of Hyemi.
Without a mother, life became harder. Now, Eunkyung was no longer caring for herself, but also for her little sister. Her father hired a nanny to look after Hyemi while Eunkyung went to school. When Eunkyung came back, she took over and the nanny would stay and watch. Her father would then come home around 7 PM and put the girls to bed while the nanny left. When Hyemi started going to school, there was no more nanny, as Eunkyung and Hyemi would walk to school together and walk home together. For a child, Eunkyung was very grown up and responsible. But, despite having a father who wasn't home often and having no mother at all, Eunkyung was happy. Her father loved her dearly and she was able to take care of herself and Hyemi on her own. She excelled in school and even skipped kindergarten and second grade.
But, everything changed when Eunkyung was 10. Her father was driving home from work in the rain when he lost control of the car and went off the road. The car hit a tree and her father died three days later at the hospital. Eunkyung was devasteted. After the funeral, her grandparents (father's parents) took Eunkyung and Hyemi back to Korea with them. There, Eunkyung realized her dream. She wanted to be a doctor who saves people from accidents like the one her father had. She wanted to become the best doctor in Korea, like her father was in the U.S. When she told her grandparents her dream, they were very proud of her. They brought her to the hospital with them whenever they could and had her sit in the ER. She would watch trauma patients arrive and she would watch them get treatment and surgeries. She would also see how the hospital was run and organized. She was fascinated with it. Because she skipped two grades in America, she was able to graduate high school at the age of 16 and go on to college at Seoul University. She graduated medical school just recently and began her residency internship at her grandparents' hospital.

He can be hot-tempered sometimes, but he's very good at controlling it. He can be protective sometimes as well. Even though he appears intimidating, he's actually very kind and easy to get along with. He likes for things to be his way, but he'll negotiate. He's very sweet and funny. He can tell very good jokes, though they don't come out often. He doesn't share his feelings with just anybody, and he's reserved about that. | Yes, they met in college. When Eunkyung graduated early, Kris was kind of upset. Sungyeol saw this and managed to get Kris an internship at the hospital with him so that he could be closer to Eunkyung. Despite being funny, kind, and hard-working, Yixing is very forgetful sometimes. You can tell him to do something, an he'll leave the room to go do it, only to pop back in a few seconds later asking what he was supposed to do again. He's qurky, but he's very hard to dislike, which makes him a great companion and friend. | No, they have not met yet. Yixing is brought to the hospital after a car accident and Eunkyung treats him. She is reminded a lot of her father while treating Yixing. After days of him being unconscious and close calls with death, he finally wakes up and they get to know each other. | When Yixing first wakes up, he gives Eunkyung a bright smile as if he had never been so close to death before. Eunkyung finds him cute. While he's recovering, she becomes his primary doctor and they get to know each other a lot. When he's discharged, he bravely asks her out, which she accepts. Eunkyung is awkward around him, but Yixing is able to naturally to calm her and make her feel comfortable with his charms.

♔Questions / comments / suggestions: I just put the pictures there for fun, you don't actually have to look at them :) I also based my character's family and background off of a character in a drama that I'm obsessed with (Golden Time). ♔Scene requests: Maybe a romantic kiss scene with Kris? :) And a scene where Kris finds out that Eunkyung is the granddaughter of the owner of the hospital and confronts her. They kinda fight and Kris storms out. But they make up later :) You don't have to, this is just an idea I had :)
