My Trip to Seoul, South Korea~Part 1--Going to Busan

I went to Busan the first week of July and stayed in a hotel near the beach for 2 or 3 days. I went there by the KTX, and it took a few hours to go there. I went to the beach on the first day, second day was shopping and beach, then third day was trying to leave.

You can see my beach photos here----> http://love4kpop827.blogspot.com/2012/09/beach-days-in-busan.html

The water was super cold, so I didn't do much except for dip my feet in and laugh at the people who did go in. ^^

The second day, we went shopping at the WORLD'S LARGEST DEPARTMENT STORE! Seriously though. It was huge compared to the ones in the U.S., but the ones near my grandparents' house were pretty big too. Like, 14 stories high. The one in Busan is...12 stories high? But it's 3.16 million square feet. That's impressive. It took my grandma and I 30 minutes to walk around one story, then I happen to look back and see that we freaking missed a small part of the story, so it took us another 20 minutes. So 50 minutes for one flipping story, times 12. So...we didn't look at every single floor.

We had to go check out the top floor, or rather the rooftop view, and we went to the seafood market. The market was so fishy! Haha. There was at least 7 fish tanks twice my size for each person who works there. There were fish/creatures that were spraying water, and a lady who was standing there, watching me as she sliced the necks of eels. Live ones. We ate sashimi/sushi, or more just raw sea animals. Have you ever tried squirming octopus legs?

The third day was a disaster, heaven forbid. On the second day, we saw a lot of clouds, and it started raining during the night. And once we woke up, it was a complete down pour. So we used an umbrella thru a really light rain, took the subway to the main central area, then took another subway to the KTX station. By then, we had to buy another umbrella and almost run thru the rain.

Anyways, we got home really safely and my grandpa was really happy to see me. I'll make some extra blogs about my family and all that @ http://love4kpop827.blogspot.com/
