It's my kpop anniversary!
One year ago I found kpop. And one year ago, I was able to find my smile again.
It's amazing to know just how much kpop changed my life. Because of kpop I found Simon and Martina. and because of them, I found what I wanted to do with my life.
Kpop gave me the drive and the ambition to move forward. It saved me from a really dark time. I wasn't sure if I would ever truly be happy again, and everytime I listened to kpop, I went into a different world. A world where my problems didn't matter anymore. A world free of my depression and sadness. And little by little I became truly happy again. I was able to put a genuine smile on my face again.
As stupid as this may sound. I know. Crazy that a genre of music could save me but that's what happened.
I owe most of it to U-KISS too. After hearing their stories, and their struggles. I found that I could push ahead, and just maybe my dreams would come true one day.
So this is a thank you to all the kpop groups that have captured my heart.
