Summary of your backstory: 

┆ Min Ju was born to a family of high class in Phoenix, Arizona when her family was visiting relatives that had immigrated to the US. Growing up in Seoul she was held in a standard of living and she was held accountable for every action. Her Father, a dedicated disciplinarian, never let anything slide and always knew if she had done something not allowed. He had little time for nonsense and planed out Min Ju's life from start to finish. Her Mother was a passive player in her life and never offered the comfort of a shoulder to cry on that every little girl needs growing up. So Min Ju developed into a cold lady that hardly let her own desires show.

┆ Min Ju had many lessons in life and she had to learn them well. Her Father made her take classes for brides and trained her to be the ultimate corporate bride so he could get the best son-in-law later on who would take over for him once he retired. Min Ju didn't believe in love thanks to his teachings. She left home at the age of seventeen and lived with her friend from high school Min Li. Min Ju hardly sees her family anymore and when she does see them her Father refuses to speak to her and has threatened to take her off the family registry.

┆ Min Ju is a person that likes things done a certain way and she is straightforward in telling others of this. She is a bit cold towards people at first because that is her persona she employs to warn others away from her. She is uncomfortable with those human relations that other people have. Sometimes she has a sharp tongue but she can slip into moments of profound softness and beauty, taking on a Motherly aura. She takes care of those around her at all times even if she is cool towards them because it makes her feel needed too.

┆ She grew up living the high life so she is a polished stone indulging in things that she finds beautiful. She loves stylish shoes and can spend all day looking for that perfect pair just as she can looking for a 'new' old book to read. She is very well versed in running a household and business matters and she likes to take control of situations when she is able. Her 'go get em' attitude has proven to be the only thing she inherited from her Father that she approves of in herself. ┆ They meet, strangely enough, in a book shop, but in the other world. She goes in to pursue the books and see if there is something that can tell her where she is and what's going on. She spies him through the book case watching at her intensely from between the shelves. She walks away to another part of the store after she determines he won't speak to her and he slowly follows her, watching her while letting his fingers drift over the book spines, that fathomless look never leaving his eyes. She finally turns to glare at him and he smirk-smiles at her before leaving the store soundlessly. That was their first encounter and one that would leave a lasting mark on her psyche.
