Suyen's reserved and cautious. She does like cute things but some things have a limit. Like she doesn't like the overbearing aegyo where people are like practicly whining. She tries to keep things to herself but she sometimes can't help but to comment on something that she knows is wrong or annoys her. She always tries to help cook and clean so that she won't feel useless and it'll help time pass by faster. She usually ignores things that don't interest her. People will think she's cold but in reality she just has no interest in whatever the topic is at the moment. But when she does, she'll talk about it animatedly for hours. Maybe not hours but for quite a bit. She prefers to do things on her own time so she hates being rushed. She's not talented in anything. She tried learning the piano but gave up as she didn't like listening to the instructor. She tried to convince her parents to let her self teach herself but they refused to.

She is easily amused by some of the things she's thinking of so she'll randomly start to giggle to herself. Most of the things that'll have her rolling on the floor are things like lame jokes. She's indifferent towards things that don't have to do with her so if one asks her for an opinion, one would only get replies like 'sure', 'i guess', 'i don't care', and 'whatever.'

personality:  

Kai is arrogant and bossy, but he can also be a cheesy sweetheart. He is relatively shy and is pretty bad with words when he's put on the spot. He'll just start rambling and doing hand motions. He likes to randomly start dancing. He's always staring off into space. When he's thinking, he'll run his hand through his hair messing it up and it's just hot. When he tries to prepare events for the one he likes, they'll be overwhelmingly cheesy. He'll even have quotes from famous movies to recite at these events. He turns pink and hides his face in his hands when he's embarrassed. He's pretty ignorant and stubborn. He can be nice but when he is, it makes it awkward for both him and the person he's nice to because it's pretty out of character for him. He likes to show off at times and he likes to be right.

love story:

Suyen and Kai were on a first name basis, they don't hate each other nor like each other. As time goes one they get closer because they're both hella lazy and sometimes he'll wander around the mansion with her like teleporting her to other rooms when they're too lazy to walk, at these moments, Kai is grateful for his power. Through that, they get closer to each other and somehow develop feelings. They do seem to have a lot in common. As the feelings get more deep, Suyen tends to blush a lot and cannot help but to smile at Kai; while Kai just gets flabbergasted and finds it kind of hard to speak when he looks into her eyes so he usually avoids eye contact and any skinship, but that's only when they're alone. When they're around everyone else, Kai acts all big and initiates some skinship like holding her hand or hugging her. Most of the time they're alone they're usually quiet and not really talking, just thinking. When they talk, they'll usually ask each other about what they're thinking of. 

Suyen finds his actions adorable and just falls for him even more. She does get annoyed at how arrogant and bossy he can be, but she still loves him whole heartedly. Since she doesn't like being told what to do, Kai's sometimes careful with what he says to her because he's use to just telling someone to do something and they oblige so he doesn't want to annoy her. But over time Kai doesn't care any more and just does whatever. They do have small quarrels though, over things like what they should watch and how she's always with xiumin and chen. They'll usually just leave each other alone for a few hours after the argument and then apologize, usually with one of them in tears and then a kiss to help dissolve all those hurt feelings away, usually Suyen's crying and Kai initiates the kiss, as most of the fights revolve around her hanging out with other guys because Kai gets jealous easily due to his mindset that he's not good enough for her. In the end she shows him that she truly does love him and he has no reason to feel insecure. Oh, and he's always insisting her to call him 'Oppa' but she refuses because she's only a few days younger. 

 

best friend: Xiumin and Chen. Since Xiumin can make the room cold, she just loves snuggling up to him with a big blanket and falling asleep. As for Chen, she loves thunderstorms so it's only right for Chen to be one of her best friends too. She loves learning more Korean and they love helping her, in return she teaches them Mandarin. They're always joking with each other and play fighting. Sometimes they even feed each other. She can sometimes be found with either one of them, although you hardly see all 3 of them interact at the same time

enemy/rival/frenemy: Baekhyun. Since he can control light, he's always annoying her by turning on and off the lights when she's trying to sleep or read. And being so energetic, he'll most likely barge into a room talking very animately, thus disturbing her. They end up having arguments that can be heard down the hall because they just can never get along. If left in a room with just them two, by the end of the day, they would both have very sore throats. Usually it's Xiumin coming to the rescue and escorting her out of the room. 

❆I Miss Them

memories: Suyen mostly misses her parents. They sent her to Seoul because she was being bullied in school. They hoped that she'd be happier in Seoul where people will hopefully be nicer. The reason why she was bullied was because her father would give generous donations to her school and people believed he did that to get her good grades, which was not the case. But, yeah, she misses her parents who are still in Beijing. And she also misses the food in Beijing.

reason: She was going from house to house asking people if they would like to subscribe to the newspaper since she worked as a part timer delivering newspapers to houses. She came across the mansion and decided that maybe they would like to subscribe.

comments: tbh, even if i don't get chosen, i'm still hella excited for this story. you seem like you write really well and the plot sounds really nice 8) am i asking for too much omfg this is my first time doing this ahhah. sorry if it's too long :c

scene requests:  Maybe like a scene where Suyen and Kai are just sitting in her room thinking and Suyen's staring at Kai and asks him 'a penny for your thoughts' and Kai tell her that he's thinking about how much he loves her and about all the possible reasons as to why she's still with him, which he can't seem to think of one.
