Background: Eiji was born in Tokyo, the capital of Japan and one of the most heavily populated cities. For the first few years of his life he practically grew up in a daycare center since his parents were always so busy with work. When he first started school, his parents lowered their workloads a bit to be with him until he was used to school. Then they went right back to work, leaving a 6 year-old to make a 15 minute walk home every day and stay alone until his parents came back. That never changed, even as Eiji got older. The walks became longer once he entered Junior High since the school was farther away, but Eiji never really cared. He was raised like that, so he figured that's what all his friends did too. There was a time where his father was told they'd be going to America to start expanding the business, so Eiji was made to learn some English. In the end the plans were canceled, as were Eiji's english lessons.

One day his parents came home and his father announced they were moving to South Korea. Eiji was really confused so he asked why. "I was offered CEO position at the sub-division there! Those Korean lessons sure paid off!" was what his father answered. So a few days later they packed their bags and flew to South Korea. Eiji was only 14 then.

Eiji was really depressed the first few months. He had no idea what anyone was saying when they spoke Korean, and despite all the lessons he got from a teacher, just wasn't picking up the language. A boy in his school, however, was able to bring him out of his shell. His name was Jaewon and when he first spoke to Eiji, Eiji practically fell in love. It left him confused because he never had feelings for a boy before, and all his friends back home said people like that were creepy and weird. He slowly stopped contacting them, and spent a lot of time with Jaewon. Jaewon knew both Korean and Japanese because he, too, was both nationalities. They got along like cat and dog, sometimes fighting, sometimes just being friends. Their friendship lasted a long, long time. Once they finished high school, they got tattoos in celebration. It was pretty stupid to everyone else, but they figured it was awesome. Both of them got a star on their opposite wrist, symbolizing their friendship and how they wanted it to last for years and years.

Sadly, their friendship ended soon after they got the tattoos. Jaewon found out that Eiji liked him and freaked out, ending all contact between them. Ever since, Eiji has been terrified of liking anybody, in fear that they'd leave just like Jaewon.

Personality: Eiji's personality is just as bright and unique as his style. He's a major goofball who doesn't really understand the whole "personal space" concept. He'll sacrifice his body for the sake of his joke, or if someone else agrees, he'll sacrifice their body instead. He's also very keen on doing skinship for the fans, with his fellow members, and it doesn't really bother him because they're all buddies, so it shouldn't matter much if he accidentally kisses one of them, or gets "too into" a preformance and grinds up against a member. He does his best to actually plan things ahead and make sure whoever is his "victim" is actually okay with it first, but sometimes he might forget and just do it on a whim. His jokes are more or less surprisingly good, yet corny. It'll take a few seconds for people to get it, but once they do, they'll be laughing until their stomachs hurt. He'll do voice or dance imitations horribly on purpose, all for the sake of a good laugh.

Eiji is also kind of a blackhole. He's a total natural at creating awkward silences, especially if it's because a joke of his went wrong, but he's always able to get the conversation going again.

One thing someone won't expect from him is that he's a HUGE crybaby. If Paradise got their first win, you can expect him to start crying right up on that stage. If it's the end of their first concert, or really any concert of theirs in general, he'll start crying. Has to talk about how he misses his parents, he'll start crying. Pretty much anything that could make someone simply tear up, he'll start crying from it. He also has this habit of going quiet randomly. It always depends on the situation. Whenever he's around someone he likes, he stays quiet. Recently, if anyone ever asks about Jaewon, he'll go absolutely silent and won't talk for a while, even after the conversation changes.

How he got in: He auditioned on a whim; he wasn't really serious about it.

Trainee experience: Eiji was fresh out of high school when he auditioned, so naturally he was a bit older than the other trainees, but that didn't mean he didn't work as hard. Since he didn't have to worry about school, he trained much longer than the others, often going late into the night. He felt kind of awkward with the other trainees, so he kept mostly to himself, although once or twice he got a confession from some high-school girl who said they really admired him, but he never dated them for obvious reasons.

Style: Eiji has a really bright style, no matter what he's dressing for. Casually he tends to wear big, baggy tops and harem pants, usually with high tops and some sort of hat and/or necklace. The colors are always bright and the tops tend to have either a saying (usually in english) or some sort of image. (1 & 2) When it comes to formal clothes, he tends to get a lot of negative comments because it isn't exactly what most people would call.. formal. Sure, he'll wear ties and dress shoes, but everything else definitely wouldn't be considered formal. He'll wear shorts or skinny jeans, and t-shirts with some type of jacket. (1 & 2) The clothes he wears in the dorm, during practice, or to bed are all the same. It's usually just sweatpants, a t-shirt, and some sneakers if he's going to practice.
