I was on a YouTube video of 2NE1 the other day and just now I find my Inbox filled with notifications of responses to a comment I made. My comment was, "I really enjoy listening to Minzy. When she sings her voice is so soothing and soulful. I also hope she gets to rap more in upcoming 2NE1 songs because the way she raps is just so smooth." I've made positive comments about each member of 2NE1 as well but I got numerous negative responses towards this particular comment such as...

"No one can compare to Bommie when it comes to singing, not even another 2NE1 member."

"What are you talking about? Bom's the one with the soulful voice!!!!"

"UUhhh Minzy rapping? NO. Rap parts only belong to CL. DUH!"

"you need to get your ears checked. her voice isn't as beautiful as Bom's"

"Park Bom is a better singer than the other girls that's why she's the main vocal of the group."

"Minzy ain't the Baddest Female so her rapping isn't as awesome as CL."

"stupid. she can't rap for sh!t. why do you think CL's the one that always raps in songs?"

"Minzy can't even compare to CL when it comes to rapping."

"Minzy and Dara are the useless ones in the group"

"CL's better than her in both singing and rapping. Why do you think she gets the most parts? xD"

"She should just stick to dancing"

"Minzy and Dara are just back up dancers/singers. They shouldn't even be part of the group."

...these were just a few of the responses I got. I do not understand why there were so many mean responses made towards my comment. I checked some of the users that sent rude responses and there were of course the typical trolls but a lot of them were from Blackjacks who are CL-biased and Bom-biased. I'm not stating that all CL-biased and Bom-biased fans are like the ones that responded to my comment but I find it so sad that there are fans that are like that since they all belong under one fandom. I praised each 2NE1 member on separate comments and it pisses me off that so many responded to my comment about Minzy just to bash her and they also bashed Dara as well.

I don't know if they were aware of this when they read my comment but I started it with "I" which meant that it was my opinion and my thoughts. I wasn't even comparing Minzy with Bom and CL and their fans sudden found offense with what I said. I'm not even Minzy-biased but I of course still defended Minzy. What's even more sad is that my comment for Bom, "Bommie unnie's voice is perfect as always. When she sings, shivers always go up my spine," became one of the Top Comments while there were haters for my praises towards Minzy and also Dara -_- In the end I just deleted my comments. Sorry if this seems like such a petty reason for me to be angry about but I just needed to rant about my feelings.

Do other fandoms go through these things? I've only noticed this type of problem mostly among girl groups.
