Gangnam Style ;

[ C O N F E S S I O N - O F - A - M I N I M E M I N I; ]

To be honest, the exposure of the video is really pissing me off. Of course, it's good for PSY and such. But not when those ignorant watchers are abusing the phrase 'Gangnam Style'. They don't even know what the video means, they just like the random-ness of it, which is similar to 'LMFAO.'

BUT OMAGAHD, the pure stupidity of.. those is just annoying me. "I got so much Gangnam Style in my Gangnam Style and I have way more Gangnam Style than you." Okay, first of all - THAT IS NOT HOW YOU USE THE TERM. SECOND OF ALL, A LOT OF PEOPLE THOUGHT THAT IT WAS JAPANESE (or chinese) - MOTHER FRICKING, IT WASN'T. THERE'S A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THOSE TWO RACES AND IF I COULD ONLY BEAT THAT INTO YOUR CLOSEMINDED MIND, THEN I WOULD. Frick you.

'Specially since PSY doesn't know about this. Makes me feelz sadeu. Yeaah, uhm.. askdlsjd;

And those who didn't get/understand the video, hurr -

The music video shows PSY dancing a comical horse-riding dance and appearing in unexpected locations such as an outdoor yoga session and hot tub. The "skewering of the Gangnam image" by the "non-Gangnam PSY" is recognizable to Korean viewers, but those less familiar with the cultural context have found the video "fresh" amidst the teen pop idol groups increasingly popular with overseas viewers.

That's it. Psy is showing us the complete opposite of Gangnam Style. That's the joke.

And Hyuna's version? She's imitating the girls in Gangnam by being overly cute, and Psy is acting like guys in Gangnam who're attracted to these sorts of women. (Younger girls who have high-pitched aegyo-ey voices, yeah. :3)

So unless you're rich and/or live in Gangnam Style, saying that phrase makes you look stupid. Thanks.

Wordy post, no? I was just feeling pretty mad over the past few weeks about this bullcrap. ;;

Off to do something productive~! (Maybe.)
