"Nan Chuaghan Betty Ojeon" — South Korea (2012)

"Nan Chuaghan Betty Ojeon" (literally: I Am Ugly Betty) will supposedly premiere in October 2012 and will reportedly star Park Shin-hye as Cho Betty Jae and Jang Geun Suk as Betty's boss, Jung Arman Woo, who is the president of a fashion house called Che'l. The two stars had previously appeared in a 2009 series called "Minami Shineyo" (literally: He is a Handsome Man; commonly known as: You're Beautiful).

MY UNBIASED OPINION: I don't think this is true. Because if it is, there could have been a presscon because as you can see, the said date of broadcast will be sometime in October, which is even earlier than the release of her movie December 23 to be shown in November. Besides, Wiki and jerriblank are not that reliable because Wiki can be edited by anyone while jerryblank is not a legit website to confirm this. The site has no direct contact from the original makers of Ugly Betty. So I am not believing this until Shin Hye or her management will say so.
