The Goods - Yunju is a strong reliable person which stems from her years in NJROTC. Her amount of dedication and determination is unlimited. She is always loyal to the people she trusts, but it isn't easy for her to trust. If you want her trust, you're gonna have to earn it. Even through harsh or rough times, Yunju knows how to keep a level head and is usually the one who has to calm people down. She is also prone to performing selfless acts, such as giving a homeless man money for food even is she doesn't have enough for herself or rushing across the street in order to save a child, because she would rather suffer than see others suffer. Surprisingly, to some people, she has a fantastic sense of humor. She's also a closet kid-at-heart and cares deeply about her family and friends.

Kim Jonghwa[55] - Yunju's father. He's a strict but hardworking and caring father who only hopes and wants what's best for his children. He currently works at Handel and Gretel and wants to build a stong father-daughter relationship with Yunju.
Kim Haneul [53] - Yunju's mother. She is an intelligent and loving mother who, like her husband, wishes for the best for their children. She currently works with her husband at Handel and Gretel and yearns for a stronger mother-daughter relationship with Yunju.

Backgrounds
Yunju was born prematurely in Los Angeles during their holiday stay with Jonghwa's sister. Because the boys still had school, their parents decided to send them back to live with Haneul's parents until they could bring Yunju back to Korea. Once Yunju was strong enough, Jonghwa and Haneul brought her to meet her brothers. They lived quite happily, albeit with a few financial problems. But they were together and that was all that mattered to them.
Things started to change when Jongwoon was signed as a trainee for SM. Life was becoming difficult for the Kims, so Yunju asked if she could live with Shinyoung. At first, Jonghwa and Haneul were hurt that Yunju even considered leaving the country, but when Yunju stated her reasoning, they realized that they raised a wonderful daughter who cared enough for them that she would be willing to live in a country where she doesn't know the language just to make life a little easier for them. They allowed it - and Yunju ended up living with Shinyoung in California.
Her best friend growing up was Amber Liu. They were the tomboys in their group and could always relate to each other. Amber's the only one who knows that Yesung is Yunju's brother. She's also the one who gave Yunju the idea of being an idol in order to be with her family again.

He is a bit forgetful, usually at the worst times, but once he realizes what he's done, he knows how to fix it. He is a bit talkative, but he is a great listener. When someone he cares about is in danger or is hurt, he's the first to take action. When it comes to girls trying to get with him, he brushes them off politely, not wanting anything to do with them. But when it comes to the girl he likes, he'll appear cool on the outside but in his mind, and usually in front of his best friend Key, he's breaking down in panic. In a way - he's the boy next door.
