Personality: She is bubbly and talkative, easy going, very clumsy but also very stubborn. On stage she has an innocent image, almost as if she were a child. Off stage she is like a child, not being able to stay still, and is very silly. But no matter what her smile is always there. Around the other members, she is the same as she is when she's off stage, child like, very silly and clumsy. The first impression of her to other people would be that she is an airhead.

Family: She only has a mother, her father died when she was only 2, so she never knew her father. Her mother's name is Kim Hyerin, she's 38, and is a flight attendant, so she's not home most of the time.Her and her daughter are like strangers, because she's almost always never home. Her grandmother Kim Jaeri, 69, was her mother figure. She raised Silvia by herself, when Silvia was dropped off by her mom. When Silvia was 16 her grandmother died.
Best Friend(s): Lee Hongki, they met at a park just before he debuted as a singer. They would always meet at that park and just talk about their troubles. He would cheer her up when she's sad or upset and she would encourage him when he feels like giving up.
Friends: Lee Taemin, they met briefly when she went with her grandmother to Beijing in 2007. During her week there with her grandmother, she ran into Taemin at the local coffee shop of where they were staying. In that week they talked and became friends, they kept in contact with each other through text messaging and calling eachother even after she returned to korea.
Kang Hyori (oc), they were classmates all through elemetary to high school. every weekend they would get together and re-watch some of their favorite disney movies. Though they can't spend a lot of time together because of her schedules as a trainee, they still find the time to talk and hangout with eachother.
