The type of mom I need...

A mom who cares for me genuinely.

A mom who loves her family.

A mom who loves her husband and kids,

that's the type of mom I need.

 

Not just who nags but also loves.

Someone who's like a friend in need

The one who is a mother by deed.

That's the type of mom I need.

 

A social server is not what I need.

Not just a mom who only feeds.

The love of a mother everyone deserves.

That's the type of mom I'd love.

I just read this and oh my poor heart! You're a beautiful person inside I'm sure!!! This was sweet. The more I read of yours the more I kind of think we're the same... I love writing poems too <3 But mine are always way too long and dark/sad etc... I tend to be a bit lost in thought when writing... if you want to know the idea of dark - you can check out my "An Elegy with a Twist" - the elegy is original. But this was what I wish to write myself - it was lovely. How can I just have found something like this now???

First of all Ramadan kareem again.
Even my mom is like that, and she listens to people too, gives them time and attention even when they don't deserve it and the nagging oh well, that I do deserve but still
It's all a part of indian moms I guess, many are that way.
But don't worry, go to her on Eid and tell her "I love you mom" and give her a bear hug, and tell her I'm sorry if i did anything to upset you.

Every single mom is like that. They just have some defects that they can't help it. :(
