personality :

Sarcastic, blank-faced, humour-loving and an introvert. That's what basically defines Yong Soah. She's a bit of a loner as she finds her own company more entertaining than being in the presence of others. Bright and kind on the outside yet still so cold and ruthless at heart, that's how Soah is. No matter how sweet she might act her attitude can take a complete 180 degree turn should she not like someone. And she won't even bother to hide it. Fierce, stubborn, hates losing and hard to understand, Soah doesn't like people learning about her. She hates it even more when they try to get close to her heart just to understand her more.

Guarded and always in check of her emotions Soah never meddles in other people's lives and hopes they do her that same favour. However she's too chivalrous for a girl. If she sees someone being bullied she will stand up and fight back. Behind her light smile, she hides so many ugly scars. At a young age Soah's experienced far too many atrocities life has presented her with. She only has a select few friends, numbers that can be counted on one hand. So she tries her best not to let life impact it upon them as she clearly doesn't want them to turn out like her. She likes being in control of herself and doesn't approach things that confuses her cause she hates not knowing.

To her, the world only exists in two shades - black & white. Her life is monotone, periodic, always following the same beat day after day and she's tired of it. Yet she never complains about it. Cause honestly the truth is she's scared to ask for more. She doesn't be believe in miracles and laughs when questioned about its existence. It's only because she herself desperately wants one. A miracle that could change her life. Even if it added just a new rythm, that would have be enough.

background :

Soah comes from a well-off family with pretty bad relations. Yong Ill Woo, her father is a complete workaholic never taking any time for his family, while her mother, Hana Tsubasa, a world reknowned violinist is dead. Soah's mother died giving birth to her. To her father whom Tsubasa was the love of his life, shut himself completely when she died. He believed Soah to be the cause of her death and blamed her ever since. Soah grew up in the care of butlers and maids, never receiving any care or compassion from her father. The young Soah, who always wanted to be acknowledged by her father did her best to shine in everything she did, always wanting to catch his attention. Even a mere comment or a nod of head would have been enough for her. But he never did. All those time, those small remarks only left a deeper gash in her heart. Being an only child she had no other siblings to turn for comfort and slowly, Soah started withdrawing from the world. Till she completely shut her heart, so that no one could ever hurt her again. Living under the same room, they are still worlds apart from each other. Now Soah only wishes to complete her studies, find herself a decent job and get out from what is supposed to be her home.

father/ Yong Ill Woo / 45 / CEO of Yong Technical Corps. / 4 / Her relation with her father is strained like a taut string about to break any time. Ill Woo knows that he treated Soah very harshly back when she was a child as he was caught up in grief at that moment. Each passing day Soah only grew up to resemble her mother more, that didn't help at all. Ill Woo is apologetic of his behaviour towards her then but the damage's been already done and he's very regretful about it. His Soah has shut herself far far away never to openly smile ever again.

Whenever Soah was feeling down, Junhyung would always find her somehow and soothe her down. Faithful and loyal, Soah trusts him over her father.

Lee Minyoung / 21 / Idol / close friend/ Spunky and straight-forward with a burning passion for dancing, Soah only got to meet her through Junhyung. She was skeptical of how idols would be in real-life but Min proved her wrong with her very down-to-earth attitude and they've been close friends ever since. People may find Min a bit boyish at times while in fact truth is Min is as every bit a girl can be in her heart. She likes cute things and taking selcas and dreams of having a perfect boyfriend to dote on her.

Jung Daehyun / 19 / Idol / close friend / If Soah had any preassumptions about him being a stuck-up idol, it all evaporated away the moment he opened his mouth and spoke in his heavy Busan accent. She just could not keep a straight face with the way he talked. Hardworking and persevering until he reaches his goal, Soah found this trait very endearing about him. She met him when he visited the library she worked in as it was always empty most of the time and rarely many people went there. He likes Soah very much due to her care-free and in-your-face attitude and harboured a small crush for her back then. But now he likes her more as a guy would like his best friend.
