I've seen this post going over and over again around AFF to draw the attention of AFFers and to the owner himself. It's nice! Really nice, dear fireflies! But this Kat has a little too much pride to copy - paste it and post it here. So, I'm going to make it personal, alright? And no bashing please?^^

When I first visited AFF, it was to read some fic about vampires. Yeah, I know, childish and uninteresting...

But then I decided to create an account here. And one day, I learned that the site was made and it's run by a guy. A GUY! You should have seen the face I made at that moment! As if I saw president Obama dressed in pijamas in my own bedroom! Something like that... And then I wanted to know more about you and about the site. So I went to the the 'About Us' section and dag up the fact that you had an interview. My thoughts about it? Not going to spoil your mood or impression on women, but... 'Man, this guy's a keeper!'. Yeah...>///<

What does AFF mean to me? Let me tell you this over-used phrase, so stereotypical: 'AsianFanfics has become a second home of mine.' It's so typical for a girl/fan to say something like this, right? But this is what I feel! AFF gave me the opportunity to come in contact with different people from all over the world! Now, that's not something that simple to do! Not to mention that you granted me my secret wish:to see a creation of mine on the internet. The friends I met here are as dear as my daily friends that I met at school or parties. But somehow, those from here are even closer to my heart since they all love the same thing as me and they know where my heart lays...Not to mention the fact that here, everyone is accepted for what it is and everyone is welcomed! You won't see that in the reality we all live in >.<"

And I know that keeping AFF might get difficult at times and not because of the DDOS attacks or server crashes, but because there's always someone complaining about the graphics of the site, about the conditions, about minor things. And they bug you day and night. I know that. I think we all know that. But we(and I think I enter in this category as well >///<), the 'elders', the ones that are older as age, we all look up to you, man! We don't complain about minor things like that! And even if we do, we sure know how to you words like: 'please', 'if you can', 'thank you'. It's simple like that! So don't mind the kids that don't understand that this site's owner is human too and that we should be thankful and supportive of him... Finally! I found the perfect word to describe this whole situation! SUPPORTING! *giggles* So, censoring the comments because of a threat? Alright! I think we can be mature enough to use some words that the kids can't understand *sneaky Kat mood ON!* Rating the chapters, blog posts by keywords? Alright! That's safer than giving us the permission to do that on our own!^^ Whatever it takes to keep it safe...we'll support you, right guys? *talking to the fireflies around here*

So dear Nichiren, firstly I would like to thank you for existing, because if it weren't for you, I don't know who would have come with the idea of creating such a site! Secondly, thank you for actually creating AFF! Man, you're awesome! And thirdly, thank you for making AFF last, for protecting us from DDOS attacks and for working till late at night to save our stories that disappeared during server crashes! You deserve a standing ovation for being who you are today! And I, even though we don't know each other, even though we'll never meet, I wish you Jason dear, all the best in the world. Because I tell you, this site saved many teens from depression of being isolated on their musical preferences... 

And Jason? If you read this, please know that you're a role model not only to me, but to others too! So stay positive and strong, alright?
