*sigh* Kat's Problems Are Never Ending *sigh*

Hi everybody! *waves*

How are you? Good? Have you checked your stories to see if you lost some chapters? Have you checked if you have them saved on your PC? Just asking 'coz I'm worried for you guys >///< I know how's like to lose your work without having a copy of it TT.TT

But anyway, maybe you're asking what's up now since everything seems to be fine...well, some of you might have guessed right what was the deal with the poll with Himchan and TOP. Yeah, I'm writing a new story. But it's a two-shot, so no need to worry for 'Of Porcelain And Steel'^^ But now I've got a problem...I have everything settled out:the plot, the characters, the beginning and the end of it, but...hmmm...I chose a genre that I never wrote about before. And to be sincere with you, I'm afraid not to screw things up big time. Maybe you know that I'm for romance and happy ending and all the thing, but this time...things are a little...OK!A LOT MORE DIFFERENT!!! TT.TT I'm afraid to get things wrong in the description parts since I'm not a native English...heck, I even have grammar problems. Not to mention the typos >.>

So, I was wondering if this time I should ask for a beta reader...you know, a person that reads the story before it gets published, and tells you what you should edit, if you did good or bad, and if there are huge mistakes. I really want this story to be great, because, promise me you won't tell a soul about it, arasso?...it's a dedication to one of my dongsaengs and well...*sighs* I don't know if she's into this kind of things and if it's written badly as well...v.v

So, what do you think?

I know I have some native English speakers around here among my friends, would you help me out? If yes, then please leave me a comment below and I'll contact you via PM to tell you the details and of course, to exchange email addresses^^

Thank you! I love you! *huuugs*

I would love to help you! I use British english so the spelling will definitely be British, not American. I've always wanted to do editing becuz i can be a crazy grammar nazi as well as a spelling one hehe^^ Your english is really good, why do you doubt your descriptions?

I'd be more than happy to help you out. You English is fantastic for someone who hasn't spoken it as their first language. I'd be more than happy to help you out.

I would TOTALLY help you out, although my grammar isn't perfect either. -sigh- Although maybe it's because when I write, I don't pay attention to how my words come out, but when I read I pick it up a little better.
If you want, just send it over and I can also get my grammar-gifted friends to look at it too :)
Also, usually the idea counts a lot more than the structure. Just a thought ^_^

I don't think it matters whether or not English is your native language. I know a number of people who score better marks in English than native English speakers. As long as you input a proper amount of effort into your writing, it should turn out fine, right?

I don't know, I've met a lot of native English speakers seeing as how I live in North America but I still think that the knowledge of a language depends on a person's intelligence. Most of the time, the only difference it makes is when it comes to pronunciation, and sometimes, not even. So I'm sure you'll do fine ^^
