Personality: Kanjana Wattanapanit, is an extremely beautiful, talented girl with the abilities to sing, dance, rap, play handfuls of different instruments, fluent in three languages, and even composes music! Usually, non-Koreans joining the Korean pop world would be made fun of because of their lack of knowledge in the Korean culture and of course since they're different, but that's a different story in Kanjana's case. Kanjana gets praised lots for her talent and beauty; in fact, many are lining up to be her friend now! Though, she likes being alone in the quiet most of the time and likes her privacy so that she can compose her music, so it may be a bit hard to befriend her the first time if you're a little too clingy. Kanjana may come off as cold due to her preferences, but that's not the deal. Once you get to know her, she's actually a really nice, warm, fun, caring, and outgoing girl; she still may be quiet, but once you get her motive going she'll be crazy and hyper, kind of like a little choding. She likes saying nonsensical things when she's hyper, too. She says she's ghetto and does all these weird things. This is a side no one but her close friends have seen; she'd never show this kind of side in public. Sometimes her friends even joke with her and say she's on crack. 

Kanjana is very laidback person. But when it comes to organization, she'll go nuts with OCD; everything has to be almost completely perfect! She hates it when people messes up her room or stuff. She is not the type of person to yell, though. Bottling up anger is the thing she does best and because of this, her anger turns into tears; she rarely ever shows when she's angry. You don't want to set her off  or it won't be pretty. It's really an unsual sight to see her angry, so I suggest no one should do so. Kanjana may come off as a jealous person at times, too. For example, if someone is big time flirting with her man, she'll complain about it all day to one of her close friends though she won't confront it to her man or the person flirting with her man because it may lead to misunderstandings and drama. Kanjana hates drama. She also has problems sleeping, so she has to take sleeping pills often. Other than this negative side of her, she loves video games. Name any game system, she has it. She's a hardcore gamer, try to beat her, you'll fail. She's not really girly as she seems; she's really tough and athletic, too. She loves all of her close friends and hanging out with them, though they don't hang out so much due to Kanjana's preferences. But if they were to go out, Kanjana loves to bring her friends out to eat and to roam around cities to play around. It's what she enjoyed most in her pre-debut days. Kanjana also has a small obsession with penguins. If she sees one, she'll yell out, "PENGUIN!" it can be a bit embarassing. This unique personality of hers is what everyone is drawn to; it fits her image. 

Background: Kanjana was born in Bangkok, Thailand being an only child in her family. Ever since she was a little kid, she has been trained to sing, dance, and play instruments; she even had to learn other languages. Her parents pushed her hard at this, her parents wanted their daughter to be a child prodigy. Although many children would hate this, Kanjana loved it. She would practice all day long; she loved making her parents happy and proud of her. Kanjana finally managed to satisfy her parents by at least becoming a child star back in Bangkok, Thailand. Though, something tragic happened after living the celebrity life for a long while, her parents had died in a fatal car accident. She was only 9 years old. This was the most depressing moment in her life. Because her parents had died, her career went downhill and everything went bad; this could explain her unique personality. She moved out of the country and moved to Seoul, South Korea with her uncle and his family. She went to school there and made good grades and high marks although it was a depressing time for her, she'd still continue to work hard... for her parents. Korean was a language Kanjana had studied when she was little, she was okay at it, but not fluent. Because of that, she had studied Korean the rest of her childhood with the help of her uncle and his wife and soon became fluent. Ever since the incident, Kanjana hasn't sung, danced, or played her instruments in a while; she started growing up and begun composing songs. She was good at it, really good. Later, she even learned to give and forget the past; she still had her parents in her heart, though, and everything she does is for them. She made some friends who've encouraged her and consoled her which caused her to begin singing, dancing, and playing again. She was having the time of her life and she was living it. She had never felt so happy ever since the tragedy. She was living the normal teenager life though she was still kind of on the quiet side. She was making friends, losing friends, getting boyfriends, buying makeup, etc! One day, she had gotten scouted on the streets because she had been messing around with some of her friends singing to one of her songs she had composed. This was the start of a new beginning...

Since Nana had debuted in After School, Kanjana was left alone with no popularity nor fame though she still had friends, but not a 'best friend'. Due to that, Nana hasn't contacted Kanjana since; Nana feels embarassed by her although she was always jealous of Kanjana's natural beauty and talent. But, when Nana finds out about "Harmony" and Kanjana's debut, this could only mean more competition. Nana will treat Kanjana cold and act like they have never met.
