⇒ Byeolbom is a very solemn person. She isn't the type to goof off and has been told that she's very work orientated. She wasn't always like this, and the old Byeolbom is probably buried somewhere inside her now serious exterior. The previous Byeolbom could probably be described as a gentle person who would run to a person the second that they needed help. She was kind, generous and never hesitated to give advice and listen to others. Perhaps it was only after she lost the only man she'd ever love that she decided to bury her true self away. Byeolbom could care less about others and how they feel. She gets irritated when people talk to her for too long and she doesn't have the slightest bit of patience. She puts all of her time in her studies and only ever stops when she really gets a break like spring break or summer vacations – not the type to call in sick or play hooky. Byeolbom will work even when she's running a high fever or hell even if she were hospitalized she'd ask to do work. Byeolbom treats work like something to take her mind off of the things that bother her. Never had she been the type to talk about her feelings to anyone and always bottled things up. She always had distractions but soon she chose work over everything else to make her forget what she wanted to forget most. No one has seen Byeolbom smile in ages and have all stopped trying to make her do so.

Many things bother the stoic girl. She's known as the heartless woman for a reason, y'know? Her family was loving and everything was in her favour from her looks to her wealth to her intelligence. Every aspect of Bang Byeolbom was in her favour. Every little thing irritates her and perhaps it's because she got her heart broken – in any other circumstance, she'd think it silly but she understood what it was like after she got her heart broken that it wasn't silly at all to be so in love you could lose yourself – or maybe she just lost all hope in finding her own happiness. It was only after she realized that she could never get the one person that could make everything better that she decided there wasn't a point in making everyone else happy. After drowning herself in work and seeing the one she loves with other people, Byeolbom isolated herself from the world leaving her with only two friends who decided to stick by her while she was in her wreck. The once helpful girl wouldn't look even once if she heard a crying child or cry for help. When given a smile, she'll give a cold expresionless stare. She is honestly one of the coldest people out there. Byeolbom is often thought of somewhat of a villain. She works hard and is feared greatly by her co-workers at work and peers in University. Her being hardworking isn't what intimidates them, it's working with her that intimidates him. Byeolbom isn't a team player, not the least. Things must be done her way, if you compromise with her, you're sure to find yourself at your knees begging her to stop telling you why your way is ineffective. Not only is it painful to just listen to her explain, it's her voice. Her voice pierces people with how harsh and cold it is. No one can remember the last time Byeolbom has smiled. People have seen her loosen up a bit more when she's on break but no smile has ever appeared. Some people may be wondering how a person as straight edged as Byeolbom relaxes and spends her breaks. She likes to go to bars and just have a few drinks and chat up the bartender – her sister – it also helps that her parents own the bar. Byeolbom can't dance. Don't ask her to dance, she'd never do it – not anymore anyways. She is seen as someone who's really dull, and girls actually invite her to parties because they want her best friend – one of the male speciman – to come along. Byeolbom goes for her own benefit – good liquor and decent faced people – never for their satisfaction.

To be or not to be shallow that is the question. Despite what many may think, Byeolbom isn't the type to look at appearance only. She could care less about other people's apperances but her own she cares a bit much about. She isn't a narcissist, not at all. She isn't inclined on the thought that her face is the best of them all, she's just worried about not looking presentable. She even goes running at four thrity in the morning so that she can get ready and go for a five kilometer run at five to keep in shape. She doesn't seem like it but she's an animal lover. By the way a normal animal lover would act, you would have never guessed that Byeolbom was one. She seems emotionless to the animals at the park and in the stores but she actually has a dog, a bunny and a fish aquarium at home. On top of all of that, she goes to the animal shelter to do some volunteer work whenever she can – the second she senses the oh-so-dreaded free time about to appear – she goes to volunteer. She may not seem like the charitable person, but she is. Salvation army, Unicef, United Nations, whatever charity there is, you can find her family at the events – thanks to her – and you can bet she has made plenty of donations. Donating to a normal person on the street, she does it without a single bit of emotion, but when she feels their thanks and the thankful faces they show, she can't help but smile a bit – of course when she thinks no one's looking.

⇒ Young Bang Byeolbom was born in busy Manhattan. She loved it there since she lived there up until she was fourteen. She grew up having her grandmother take care of her since her parents were always out at work. It wasn't until she turned fourteen and her grandmother got really ill that she had to move to Seoul – her grandmother knew her time was close and wanted to return to Seoul for her final days. Not too long after moving to Seoul, her grandmother passed away – exactly six months and ten days later. Of course she had a hard time coping with it but her grandmother didn't leave her little when she passed. Byeolbom's grandmother had a fortune ready for the family which her mother used to buy a whole lot of property. After doing so, her father opened a bar and a cafe which became pretty well known. The family made their own fortune out of her grandmother's fortune. Byeolbom was raised to be a sweet kind girl and so were her sisters. Every single one of the sisters were well behaved and kind just like their grandmother taught them. It wasn't until she turned seventeen that her parents had an aquarium installed into her room along with a personal tank cleaner. She was expected to feed the fish and such but her parents didn't want her doing the tank cleaning – she was quite small and still is...the tank was enormous, her parents didn't want the tank to crush her.

The boy was apparently in need of more money and worked as a bus boy at her father's bar – she had never seen him since her father restricted her from that place until she was at least eighteen. It was love at first sight for Byeolbom and she did everything she could so she could to stay at home whenever he came to clean the aquarium. She chatted up a storm with him and after a short six weeks, she got the courage to ask him out on a date. Being a guy of course he wouldn't turn down a date with a pretty girl, so they went out and really hit it off. Fearing that her parents wouldn't approve of their relationship, they kept it a secret. He had already been fired from many jobs, his skills limited him to playing instruments and doing the basics. Byeolbom's father was very generous to him and gave him bonuses easier than other employees knowing that the boy came from a poorer family and needed the money to stay in his elite university. Knowing what her father was like, she knew he would flip out and kick both of their bottoms to February thirtieth. They dated for a year and seven months until her father found out and almost fired him until he said he'd break up with her if he could keep his job. That of course broke her heart and she did all that she could to get out of the house whenever he was around after that. That same summer she thought moving on would be good for her but it was also that summer that her new boyfriend and best friend betrayed her. After that, she just decided to stop caring.

style: If it's mostly summer, then you can be sure to find Byeolbom in a skirt or shorts. Byeolbom is a fan of aztec patterns and is always found wearing some wort of aztec patterened cloth no matter the occasion. She's pretty much always wearing shorts with a crop top or loose top during the summer and if not, the shorts are switched with a skirt. Byeolbom likes dresses too and you can bet that her dresses are all aztec patterned. If she's wearing shorts or pants, she'll wear her Doc Martins but if she's wearing a skirt, she'll most likely be found wearing her Toms or a pair of gladiator sandals. → Sunghoon can only be described as a carefree and way too flirtatious with other women. Despite the fact that he isn't the most loyal man, he can truthfully say he's with his wife not only for her money but because he finds her addictive. Sunghoon is out of the house for pretty much the whole day since he manages the café during the day and the bar at night – both of which are on his wife's land. He is a very sentimental kind of guy though he makes jokes way too often for people to take him seriously. Some say it's a miracle that he even got married for his playboy ways. Sunghoon is always flaunting his image saying things like "Byeol-ah, isn't your daddy so handsome?" or "Ah, yeobo-yah your husband is too attractive." or even "Sol-ah, Ran-ah, if we go out together people might mistake your youthful father for your boyfriend or brother!". But it's one of the things, his narcisism that makes him so keepable. He may not deserve the number one husband award, but he could sure as hell get the number one father award. He cares more than one would imagine he could. He may seem self-centered but he spoils his daughters with items but most of all, love. Once when the eldest of the daughters was admitted into the hospital, he not only left the pretty lady he was with but he didn't open up the bar for the night because he didn't even take the time to call other employees to open up because it was his night.

→ Sunghoon and Byeolbom's relationship is very close just like it is with the rest of his daughters. Just like his first two daughters, Sunghoon and his wife couldn't decide on a name so each chose something they wanted incorporated. Sunghoon calls Byeolbom his little star making a direct reference to the word Byeol which means star. He teases her all the time about having a boyfriend though in truth if she ever said she did he'd send her back to Manhattan faster than he could say "Can I have your number?". You could say that being the youngest of the family, and Sunghoon being the oldest of his siblings he knows a thing or two already about being the overprotective figure of a household.

→ Hyosook is the cold woman who borderline flaunts her money. She's filthy rich and she knows it. People say she has a rather awful personality but that doesn't mean she doesn't have a heart. When people are at their lowest, being bullied or anything of the sort – hey, bullying exists in the adult world too you know? – she won't hesitate to stand up for what she thinks is right and protect the innocent. She's like Batman in a way, a superhero who's loaded with cash – saves the day nonetheless though, Batman just does it in a cooler more badass way. Hyosook is feared by many because of the amount of power she has – the woman doesn't just own a block, she owns two streets worth of stores and land. Hyosook has never considered herself a saint, the complete opposite as a matter of fact, but she never thought she deserved to be constantly fooled by her husband. She knows of his ways but sticks by him nonetheless, trophy husband if you wish to call it that. She just wants warmth from him, nothing more. She is the type to really care about public image,but she isn't the type to totally dictate over her kids' lives. She loves to shop and is quite stylish if you asked anyone. This woman is powerful and she won't let anyone break her spirit.

→ Hyosook wanted to name her youngest daughter after springtime and found Bom appropriate so you can imagine that her mother addresses her by Bom or Bommie. Hyosook doesn't spend as much time with Byeolbom because Byeolbom has school but it doesn't mean she cares any less. When times get really tough, Byeolbom will go to her mom for advice and their relationship is a bit awkward unlike Hyosook's relationship with the older sisters.

→ Solyeon is mature and caring. She is of course the responsible older sister. She's known as the ideal daughter for her amazing grades, aspirations and well-roundedness. She has the looks, the brains and the personality to make everything about her perfect. She's the golden child, everyone loves her. Solyeon isn't the type to brag or anything and honestly it's what makes her so loveable yet so hateable. Solyeon recieves a lot of attention from just about everyone which earns her as many friends as it earns her enemies. She only wants to look out for her family and honestly doesn't like to go out much. She likes to stay at home and study when she isn't working which is what makes her and Byeolbom relatable. She'll be willing to go out with her mom or sisters or even her dad but when others ask her to parties and such she'll politely refuse them. She's very proper, stylish in a conservative way and the ideal girl to take home to mom and dad.

→ Solyeon and Byeolbom's relationship is very neutral. You can bet that Solyeon's the first person Byeolbom goes to if she needs help with work, but their relationship is very work oreintated and although Solyeon probably knows her best in the family, Byeolbom had distanced herself after the break up. → Ranmi is that it girl everyone wants to be friends with. Though she isn't the brightest sister in terms of smarts, she is determined to make her name known via fashion. She is outgoing, energetic and really actually quite cunning so don't let looks decieve you. Ranmi is the type that's really persistent and won't take no for an answer. She is an amazing persuader which helps when bargaining during shopping. If you thought the sun was bright, you obviously haven't been in a room with Bang Ranmi. She literally lights up the room with her presence. She is far from innocent but her views on love are innocent in a way that she is hung up on one man who she refuses to let go of. She has spent her childhood trying to woo the man of her dreams and as stated won't give up even after sixteen years of chasing after him. She and her sisters come from different galaxies. They are very different yet Ranmi has never felt out of place when she was with her sisters since she knows though they may be different, they'll always have each other's backs.

→ Ranmi and Byeolbom don't communicate much. It isn't because Ranmi doesn't want to talk to Byeolbom, it's that Byeolbom always seems to be too busy for Ranmi. When she has the time, Ranmi tries to get Byeolbom out of her working state to get her to open up a little more.

He cares, he really does, but when faced with something that could endanger his hard worked lifestyle, he pushes others in front of him and leaves before he can be punished. His jobs are really important to him since he can't afford to stay in College without them. He's an overall sweet and romantic boyfriend but as a person it might be a little hard to get along with him if you don't like it when people constantly ask you to cover for them. He doesn't always take other people's feelings into consideration but that doesn't mean he never does. He does believe that he was once in love with Byeolbom but he can't bring himself to get back together with her no matter how much he wants to because he's afraid of her dad. It seems like every time they try to get back together, something comes in the way before it can happen – time after countless time. He's not the type of person who will do something if it might inconvenience him which oddly enough, Byeolbom never minded.

After that, Luna managed to cut off her relationship with not only Byeolbom but Taeyeon and her boyfriend too. She did however succeed in snagging Byeolbom's boyfriend at the time, Lee 'Onew' Jinki. Though Byeolbom doesn't feel anything about losing Onew, she did hold a dark grudge for Luna for betraying her trust. Luna knows that Byeolbom is still stuck on that one guy – her love interest in this whole thing – and makes it very obvious to make any of her current boyfriends know Byeolbom's heart will never be one hundred percent theirs. Aside from the whole ruining her love life, Luna decided to take it upon herself to make sure the two – Byeolbom and her one and only love – never get back together.
