background story (optional):  Lily lead a pretty simple life. In her hometown of Tauranga, Lily worked part time at her local bookstore and also at her grandmother’s restaurant. Most of her family majored in culinary and were quite well-known in Tauranga for her grandmother’s exquisite Chinese fusion dishes. Her grandfather was an artist (not a performing artist but a painter/person who loves to draw/sketch) and had various artistic skills which included playing instruments, singing and also martial arts.  Lily never intended to be an idol for her dream was to become an English professor and teach. One day, an entertainment company held auditions in Auckland and Lily accompanied her friend who was taking part. Lily spontaneously auditioned after being convinced by some of the organizers and was accepted. She then moved to Korea and at first stayed in Incheon with a family friend before joining the entertainment company.

People like teasing Lily and calling her Chu~ because it’s like a parody of f(x)’s song ‘Chu’ which is also sometimes interpreted as a kiss. It’s also because Lilly likes to air kiss people. For example, whenever she’s feeling cheerful and wants to show her affections, she’d squeeze someone’s face and pretend to kiss them (hence ‘air kiss’) while making the “MWAAAH” sound.

who is your enemy?:  Lily herself.

The reason why Lily is her own enemy is because she doesn’t want to fall in love. She doesn’t know why but she’s scared that her love would be taken for granted. She also feels like she would never be able to commit to a relationship because she’s afraid one day she’ll find that she’s stopped loving that person. Lily wants to truly love one person and spend the rest of eternity with them.

why you like your dbsk member?: Changmin’s snarky, witty and very hardworking. His genius mind and his way with the words is what attracts Lily, who loves it when someone is able to attract people by using only their words. Lily is also in love with Changmin’s height. There’s no denying, she loves tall guys. Lily had quite a depressing childhood and was unable to communicate with others well. Upon learning that Changmin has also had some difficulties during the earlier stages of his life, she finds something in common with him and is eager to know why he also had to face the same thing, to deepen her knowledge in this matter.

• frozen yoghurt with tons and tons of gummy bears, raisins and dried oats on top.
• bunnies. She likes everything bunnified. LMAO
• Acting cool. Lily thinks she’s all gangsta and she pulls it off pretty well.
• SNEAKERS. Lily has a for sneakers. Every design in every other colour she can find.
• HOODIES. She’s got all the designer hoodies with the abstract designs and colourful patterns. She also likes hoodies because it gives her a sense of security and makes her feel protected.

• Music. Especially with a nice rhythm and awesome bass.
• Hip-hop style of dance. She loves watching B-boy contests.

Hates:

• slimy things. She’s just totally disgusted by anything squishy, squidgy and called. (Food and slushes are an exception)
• cockroaches. She’s not scared of them when they’re just crawling around but more of freaked out by the idea of them crawling all over her body.
• shadows. SHE HATES SHADOWS. Even her own shadows creep her out.
• Being alone. Lily faces depression and constantly needs a chat buddy to avoid feeling lonely.

Versatility is a great keyword for Lily. Expressive and quick-witted, Lily presents two distinctive sides to her personality. You can never be sure with which one you're going to come face-to-face. On one hand, Lily can be outgoing, flirtatious, communicative, and ready for fun, fun, fun. Yet when the other part of Lily is present, you can find yourself facing someone who is contemplative, serious, restless, and even indecisive. Things are never boring when Lily’s on the scene. She’ll try hard to make things work and loves to motivate people. Lily’s got a thing for words and is totally impressed by how much emotion can be portrayed through just one word. She likes her privacy and respects personal space. She can be an absolute introvert when she wants, often times a loner, and can come off as snobbish. Lily can be quite intimdating and sophisticated.
