Before meeting Jeonhwa, he had a completely different life. He looked up to the monstrosity he called a father and granted all his father's wishes. Kikwang was what others would call the person who had gotten the rotten end of the stick, having been the one who had to risk his life and criminal record by being onset. He was the one who had to wait out in the cold night with the drugs stuck in his jacket. He was the one who had to roam around in clubs to deal with his father's clients and give them their pills to help them get through the regretful night happily. However, there was someone who had always been on his track, thinking that he had been working alone and was determined to land him in prison. Kikwang found it extremely tough to shake this person off, though they had a somewhat different relationship than those of the authorities and the criminals they're after. He is—no doubt—interested in this person's snide remarks, empty threats and cocky personality. However, at the end of the day, they're alike cats and dogs. If they had met under different circumstances, they could possibly be best friends.

Temptress ɬ Open ♠ 1 girl

Despite the countless of times he's told her that he's not interested, she still comes back. He doesn't understand why she'd want to be with someone like him—heartless and broke—but that doesn't matter in the least anymore. Kikwang constantly pushes her away, but he knows that he's rather attracted to her after her many attempts, even though he constantly reminds himself of his true love. Something about her makes him want more, making him confused. With each passing day, he finds himself attracted to her. Kikwang shares a love/hate relationship with her, at times showing her the side that only Jeonhwa could bring out before, yet most of the time, he'd push her away. One thing's for sure: the many sleepless nights he used to have wouldn't be as easy to shake off as he thought it would.

Bromance ɬ Kim Kibum

The only person Kikwang can seem to stand. He is a lot like Kikwang, yet has his own unique traits. They've been through thick and thin together, making the very paranoid Kikwang trust him. He's like the brother Kikwang had never had—the brother he had always needed. Kikwang mucks around with him most of a time, because their presence together brings out the kid in the both of them and both understand each other very well. Kikwang can tell whenever he's in a bad mood and vice versa, which would lead to a deep conversation. Their friendship is the envy of many.

Cataclysm ɬ Open ♠ 1 girl/guy

Kikwang has been—needless to say—trying to forget about his past, but how can he do that when he sees ghosts from before? This person's presence constantly reminds him of the bad deeds he's done and the many people he's killed for his father. Kikwang has tried to block this person out, but their voice constantly haunts him. S/he was Kikwang's best friend before he had decided to run away; they were the ones who saved him when he was in trouble with the authorities, and the one who did his job for him when he didn't want to, just to save him from his father's abuse. Kikwang knows that this person has been there for him for ages and he knows that he can trust this person, but it's so hard to accept a person who reminds him of his dark past.

Junior ɬ Open ♠ 1 girl/guy

Kikwang's earliest memories is of him in an orphanage. He was quite the rebel, having gotten into trouble more than a few times. However, he can vaguely remember this one person that has always been there—alike a sidekick. That person was his first and only friend and he remembers a lot about said person. He remembers the night they sneak out and steal food from the canteen, the times they put fallen lizard tails on another kid's pillow, and the moments when they would sneak out late past midnight to watch their favourite programs, cracking jokes, repeating memorable lines and just...laugh. He remembered the day he was taken away from the orphanage—the relieved smiles of the caretakers, the delighted squeals of the other children, but what had hurt him most was the tears that ran down his only friend's face. Kikwang longs to find said person again, even if it's almost impossible.

Princess ɬ Open ♠ 1 girl

The woman Kikwang was initially forced to marry by his surrogate father. He had met her a fair few times, been on some dates with her and decided that she was nice, but he could never see himself falling in love with her. However, who cared about love? Kikwang honestly thought that she would be his future wife; after all, his eyes were set on her inheritence. However, little did he know that while going on dates with her, he was already falling in love with the other woman in his life. When their parents had announced the official date of their marriage, Kikwang finally knew that he couldn't live this life. There was a time where he had liked her, but he sees her as a sister, not a lover—even though she had feelings for him.

Heir ɬ Open ♠ 1 girl/guy

The heir of his father's position in the black market. S/he is exactly like Kikwang—s/he was adopted, and as of now, s/he looks up to Kikwang's surrogate father probably because he gave said person a second chance in life. Thinking that Kikwang was the cause of the murder of said person's idol, s/he is determined to kill Kikwang. S/he has been sending out spies who have been watching Kikwang, tracking him and trying to kill him. Though Kikwang doesn't know who that person is, he's sure of one thing: at the end of the day, one of them has to die.

Drinks Up ɬ Hwan g Chansung

After the whole emotional turmoil, Kikwang decided to dedicate his nights to drinking once again. He would usually drink to his heart's content, his back facing the neon lights that shone across the mass of young people dancing like there was no tomorrow. The sunset was also known as one of Kikwang's most vulnerable moments. He vaguely remembers this man who would always sit next to him and despite his paranoid attitude, he trusts this stranger. They constantly share their problems together, drink to their future and conclude the day's events in heartfelt words. Kikwang barely knows anything about the guy, but he cares about him. He knows that he's allowed to get drunk, because the latter would always make sure Kikwang arrives home safely and vice versa.
