And alas, I give up on Hamartia, in the end.

Let me start by saying that I’m sorry.

Second, let me admit to being an indecisive, reckless, inconsiderate person.

And third, I’ll also admit I’m trying to convince myself there are at least a couple of people who were enjoying Hamartia and were curious as to where it would go.

So, I’ll also finish by saying that I’m sorry too.

To tell you the truth, when I first started writing it, I had just read an apocalypse novella and I was absolutely thrilled at the thought of writing something like that for a nice style change. So it was very, very poorly planned out and became something of a spinoff of the novella I read.

I realized the similarities made my story, well, unoriginal. And therefore, I became insecure and the thrill was gone.

Additionally, the goal I was shooting for with this apocalypse fic was a deep symbolism. I realized I wasn’t yet mature enough as a writer to achieve (and perfect) something like that on my own. Especially since there was not much planning involved and I wrote most of it half heartedly.

To wrap it all up, I’ve decided to take it down and maybe tinker with it a little.

Yep.

I hope this didn’t sound like complete bull. Just a little bit.

Thank you.

(ps. I have plot bunnies. (a few of them are craaaack.))

Awwwwwwww, I'm sad ;_;
But I can't say anything because I've done that before (start stories in a spur-of-the-moment thing).

... which is why I also lose interest in many of my stories.
(/cough/My Mission, My Mistake/cough/)

But I'll be looking forward to your stories ^^
