“Hyung! Hyung!” he called to me, a fluttering smile on his face.

I acted annoyed, trying to keep the smile off of my face. “What is it now?” I whined.

“Hyung, take me to the park?” he asked, eyes sparkling. “It’s a nice summer day and … and I haven’t been there in a long time!”

Glancing at his pouting face, my chest burst. How was I to refuse anything of this child?

“Alright, fine”, I reluctantly agreed. Standing up and reaching for his hand.

“Yay! Hyung, thank you!”

“We’re here”, I said, as I parked the car.

He quickly opened the door and jumped out, squealing non-stop.

“S-seungri!” I called to him. “Wait for me! Y-yah! Come back here!” I jogged to him, and put a hand on his arm. He looked at me expectantly and I intertwined our fingers. My face lit up, partially because of the PDA, but also because of the sudden fear of losing him.

“What is it hyung? It’s okay… I’m not afraid anymore!”

“Yah. Still. Stay with me, alright?” I glared at the small boy beside me.

“Mm. Hyung, let’s go there!” he pointed to the nearby pond where all the cute little duckies swam. “Uwah! Look at them! So cuteeee!” he squealed.

“What a little girl”, I muttered just loud enough for him to hear.

“Yahhh…hyung!” he whined, pulling his hand away from me. The force of his action caused him to stumble a bit backwards, closer to the large pond.

“Seungri!” I grabbed him by the waist just in time. I pulled him in and I whispered, “Don’t scare me like that… I know you can’t swim…” I clutched at him like a lifeline.

“But hyung…” he turned his head, pointing to the water. “The pond’s still 10 metres away…

I looked up, surprised, to see that, indeed, it was a distance away.

“O-oh.. Uh. Well. Uh. Yeah.” I let him go, scratching my head. “Right”, I muttered. “Well let’s go feed the ducks” I glanced at him nervously. He stared up at me with his innocent puppy eyes. “Well, what’re you waiting for?!” I nearly shouted.

“Hehe, hyung”, he giggled, grabbing my hand and pulling me with him towards the floating creatures. “Thanks for bringing me here!” he smiled, and I smiled back.
