Kpop Review: T-ARA's "Bingeul Bingeul" & Dal Shabet's "Mr.Bang Bang"

Apparently, this will be another double review with T-ARA and Dal Shabet. I actually kind of feel bad though.. because I was gonna do a review yesterday, but it like 9 at night (where I am). So, then I decided to do it today, but then Dal Shabet's song came out... And so, I was like, "Meh.. let's do a double review... no one really reads it anyway..."

Okay, first up is T-ARA with "Bingeul Bingeul" (which translates to Round & Round, obviously #UKISS!) Now, let me tell you a little story... I may be a girl, but I'm not a little girly girl, nor am I a rebellious tomboy; however, I'm just a mixture of both. So, whenever I see a girly girl  getting mad at a someone for getting something on her clothes, I roll my eyes and think to myself, 'It's a little stain.' Whenever I see a tomboy doing something impolitely or doesn't have respect for authority, I just think, 'WTF Why is this person here?'. But, everyone is human, and they were born that way; So, I shouldn't care what other people do or think, but my thoughts are also my opinions, decisions, and reasoning. My heart and soul is the only one with feeling.

So, besides my really strange short story, I did and didn't like both the song and video. This was why I told you that really strange short story. Also, I heard that this was a remake of a the same song from the 1980's? I've never actually heard of the original, but if I happen to watch it and it's a ballad, there's no way in H311 I'm gonna like it.

Anyways, I didn't like the song because, to me, it sounded like a really really kawaii girly girl Jpop song. Even though I'm subscribed to many Jpop companies on YouTube, I listen to very few of them because they're either the really really kawaii girly girl type of songs that you could listen to whenever or they're the drastically sad depressing type of songs where you only listen to these songs on a sad rainy day. So, just for the record, this was like pure torture for me. It sounded super cutesy, and I swear, I was like, "OMFG GET OUT!" (as my brother would say sometimes as a joke). And.. when I look back at Girls Generation's "Oh!", I was like I don't like, but I liked how sound and I always loved dancing to this, even if I forget the dance steps; side note, "Oh!" also felt like pure torture, but today, T-ARA's song is much worse. I think the only part I liked was when they said, "Bingeul Bingeul" in the beginning and end.

As for the video, it looked like they were doing this for some kind of game show. It even sounded like it was for a game show! Anyways, in this video, it just switches from dancing to cutesy them to dancing to back stage. Honestly, there's really nothing going on in this video.

As for the dancing, I give it a WTF out of 100. I mean, if this song is meant to look and sound cutesy, shouldn't the dance moves be the same way? Honestly, I thought dancing in a y way was meant for songs like 4minute's "Volume Up" or G.NA's "2Hot". I could see little cutesy movements in this dance, but this dance is not cutesy at all. "GET OUT!"

As for the English, I'm not sure if there's any English in the song, but if there is please tell me. But for now, "raspberries..", no score.

Honestly, I'm not really bashing the song, but I'm just giving my opinion. If you don't like my opinion, that's fine. IDGAF!

Okay, on to Dal Shabet~! This song was.. and okay song to listen to. Course, I wouldn't listen to it often because of many things, and I wouldn't watch it anymore because of.. some things..? I guess... Although, the song is catchy, and the dance is cute. But honestly, there are a few problems with Dal Shabet..

Anyway, the video didn't make sense with song because of the concept. The song says, "Boy, I'm not gonna let you go because we were meant for each other." Whereas the video says, "The members of Dal Shabet are going to commit a crime." I, on the other hand, just think, 'What the eff..?'.

In the beginning of this video, it takes place in a bank, and in that bank, some guy just bought a newspaper. Wow... All of a sudden once he sits down, all of Dal Shabet piles in from the right side. Isn't that a bit weird? Especially since there are doors.. right there.. in the background..? The second everyone piles in, there are a few looks from the guys, but no one really cares if they come thundering in with guns. I mean, if I saw a group Kpop Asian girls with guns walk into my house wanting all the money from it, I'd start laughing like a crazy person because they couldn't do $H!T and it's just that "..I can't.."

Suddenly, one of the members shoots her gun, but then her members crouch down in fear. ... Why? Idek... At the same time, she starts singing. Once she notices that her members are on the ground, she yells at them to get up and starts to threaten people with the gun like they usually do at a robbery. Now, do you really think this lady is going to shoot you with a gun? Of course not! She's too kind-hearted to do so.

And so, as it gets to the chorus, they're, most likely, dancing and singing than actually robbing the bank, which is okay, but are you sure you want to rob the bank? I mean, there's really no point in doing such a crime. After the chorus, they continue their process of robbing the bank. And you know what, I probably didn't mention before, but if you're going to rob a bank, why are you wearing high fashion clothing? Anyway, now that they've gotten what they wanted, they end up up sharing it with everyone in the bank... I'm not sure if that's a crime or a false good deed.

Even after that, the police come in with their guns while Dal Shabet points at them with their guns. Remember the question I asked and answered? Ye-p, so don't even worry because she's gonna end up giving it all to them, anyways, but as a bribe; So, they can get out and Dal Shabet doesn't have to go to jail. Well, that certainly makes sense. Then, they leave.. without using the door.. AGAIN! Suddenly, more police sirens are heard and everyone makes a break for it because they don't want to get caught. Nice...

And if anyone hasn't noticed yet, that's not even Korean Won, that's fake US Dollars...

So, for the dance of the song, I give it 100 points out of 100. It matches well with song, and it's really cute. Now if one of my guy friends makes me mad, I can just do the chorus and be like, "Whatever.."

As for the English, I give it a 90 out of 100. Only because of how they pronouce the words and it annoys me that some groups don't take the time to sit down and try to pronounce it correctly. Although, I was going to give them an 85, but I gave them some points back because I know they are trying hard, so don't rush your English Dal Shabet! At least, don't say any until you've perfected it...
