style: Her clothes mainly consist of long sleeved shirts, shorts and jeans. She hardly wears sleeveless shirts, unless it is accompanied by a cardigan or jacket. She's one to seemingly always dress casually, unless required otherwise. One particular thing about her dressing though is the shoes, she loves collecting the different design of shoes, hence wearing a different one almost every day.

personality: Kaeri is a simple yet complicated, naive yet calculating girl. She's contradicting in every way, making one who tries to figure her out rack their brains and still unable to. Sometimes, even she herself wonder if she has split personality.

Her simple way of life is that she never ask for too much, easily contented with almost anything. It is never hard to get her to smile, even when she's too angry, upset and crying or stressed up. Some times, even when everyone else are still tired, she always manages to find the energy to keep on being bubbly, talkative and seem as if she was not tired at all. One thing she believes is that, if she smiles, others will follow, and hence, if she has energy, the others will rub off her energy too. That is also probably due to her being influential.

Her complicated way of life is because although she can be made happy by simple things, she's always seeking the extreme and thrilling sides of life. Whilst people love driving car, she prefers riding the bike which is much more dangerous than a car is. When asked why, she simply said 'because we only live life once, why live it without trying out the best of it and might end up regretting?' She believes that only through thrill, will her life be interesting. She never liked it when her life seems too plain or smooth sailing, and always preferred the ups and downs despite sometimes the downs being so too hard to bear. Some people would call her crazy, and others would say its weird, but she calls it unique.

Her complicated way of life also include moments and her tendency to think stuff based on her own frequency of thoughts, her way of understanding and her way of explaining. Sometimes, her opinions towards a certain matter differs from others so much that people who don't know her only confirms their doubts that she's probably crazy or weird. She always seems to be the opposite of what most people are, like the opposites and hate the opposites[except for some. explained in likes and dislikes later.] This also meant that she's an absolute dork when it comes to explaining stuff, because of the way she'll really look very serious while explaining, determined to get it into your head. She might be the best person to turn to for advice, since her way of thinking is always much more clearer in some sense and if you can stand her endless nagging if you ask advice for something bad.

Some calls her naive, others call her gullible, all because of her tendency to trust people at the first second before thinking at the next. It is one of the most obvious traits of her that people pick up on easily without much effort. From the simplest lie such as if her friend was to tell her that he/she had gotten attached, she would believe it right away without a doubt. Last time, her classmate even went overboard to lie to her that lesson was canceled, to which she also believes readily and skipped it, only to find out it had all been a lie. She tried, really, to change this habit of hers, but its hard when she believes that 'Every lie, has a possible of truth behind it.'

One particular lie she'll never believe is when someone says she's beautiful, because of scars left from her past, she's always very self-conscious about her looks.[the reason why she do not want to wear sleeveless clothes without a jacket covering or something because she's not used to showing her skin]

Her calculative part is one trait that she hardly shows anyone, and its so unnoticeable unless you're some genius who can piece stuff up easily. From manipulating people for their talents, not in a big and harmful way but just in a way that benefits her[for project works etc], to working her way into the heart of someone she wish to be close to, she's smart in carefully planning her way. That being said, she's also very good in lying, hence its never easy to know if she trust you or not. She could be laughing with you one moment, but the truth that she had told you, most probably left out almost all of the important details. Her talented mouth with to-the-point words always never fail to twist some unbelievable lies into truth. Many people find it hard to not believe her because of her gift in persuading people using words, and she's definitely not hesitant in using her gift.

One of the biggest flaw she face from being so calculative and planning is that she finds it hard to trust people, in a deeper way than just believing those simple lies. She finds it hard to confide in people, and hence most of the time feels lonely due to bottling her problems up to herself. She hates it when people pity her, she likes to come off as strong, even if it means plastering on a fake smile and hiding everything up. Her pride matters a lot to her. 

Her trust issues results to a weird sense of loyalty towards her friends. For those she does really let close to her heart, she'll never let them go, and even to the extent, afraid they'll let her go. Whilst to others, which even if she cares for[by nagging or giving advice], she wouldn't think twice if she had to let them go for some important issues and probably wouldn't feel sad if they had just left her. She's definitely not the most loyal friend you'll ever meet, as she's not the type to stand up for her friends, but she's definitely one you can lean on when you need help, though she'll make sure you're independent. She believes that the best way to live life is to be independent, leaning on others/depending on others will only show you as vulnerable. Hence, she hardly really makes it clear who she lets into her heart, and not, since she don't want to be seen as vulnerable.

History: Like almost every other child in Singapore, she was born into a happy family. As the saying goes, happiness never last forever. Seemingly cursed, her life went downhill when she reached 7 years old, the age to start pre-school in her old country(Singapore.) In pre-school, she was still not the girl she is today, in fact, she's like the version of her that's lock up deep inside today. She was always bullied, teased till she cry, being left alone and called ugly. The insults and bullying had got to her at first, all the way through her years of life till 15 years old. One would have thought she would at least have a family to run home to, but as fate seems to have it out for her, she didn't. Her family start falling apart when she was 8, with her father cheating and she being the one who found out and had to keep the secret to prevent her mom from knowing as she didnt want her mother breaking apart. 

Between her 7years old time span to 15 years old, she have tried almost everyone a desperate person who wants to die would. From skipping school for days which turned into months, to trying out glue and cigarettes[ she never tried drugs though], to selling her body for money at a time in her life and eventually trying suicide. She kept most of this from everyone she knows, except for those that she can't hide[such as skipping school.]. Eventually, her mother had saw her father cheating on her and wanted to move to Korea. Kaeri had been afraid that her mother would leave her side and begged her to take Kaeri along. In the end, her mother moved with Kaeri to Korea, where she change her name and tries to throw her past behind.

The scars are still there however, the secrets that might one day be spilled out still scare her, and that's what made her who she is today.

- Kabbie Yang | 16 | 04/18/1996 | Best-friend, sister-like, drug to Kaeri. | Kabbie is a girl who seems to be the exact replica of Kaeri, only a more vulnerable one. She is more open with her insecurities, willing to tell it to her friend though not willing to change. |

Between Kaeri and Kabbie, Kabbie is probably the only one Kaeri feels totally comfortable and not afraid that she'll leave one day. Being the older one of the two, Kaeri always teased Kabbie in a friendly way, to which sometimes she knows she goes overboard but Kabbie never once blamed her and always stayed by her side. Whenever Kaeri is upset, Kabbie just need to appear and Kaeri will be happy instantly, hence Kaeri always calls Kabbie druggy, meaning to say she's her drug. Towards Kabbie, Kaeri feels the need to protect her, to be there for her and to make sure she stays out of harms way. She always reminds Kabbie on how un-needed her insecurities are and always do special stuff to make Kabbie feels special, being happy when she sees Kabbie smile.

- Jennifer Lee | 19 |  03/16/1993 | Step-in-mother, bestfriend, confidant | Jennifer is the most mature, naive and friendly person Kaeri had ever met. Being one to easily make friends and keeping them by her side, she seems to be the social butterfly that everyone loves. She knows when to be mature, when to be crazy along and is good in noticing people's change in mood. At times, she might seem like a fragile girl who needs protection.

At first, Kaeri had form a weird closeness with Jennifer only because of the same surname. As strange as it is, the both of them grew close at a very quick pace, it seems almost fated. Towards Jennifer, Kaeri's almost another type of girl. The one to always call Jennifer 'momma', comes running into Jennifer's arms whenever she sees her, being all protective like how a daughter is to her mother. Sometimes she really wonder if Jennifer might had been lying about her age and actually been her mother, cause around her, Kaeri feels safe, loved and wanted. She feels safe to show her vulnerable side, she feels safe to be the whining little girl wanting some attention and she definitely feels loved when jennifer nags at her. Their friendship had become somewhat like a family ties, deep bonding despite not blood bonded.

Kaeri and Tya had a somewhat weird friendship whereby Kaeri really respect the way how Tya always keep personal and work seperated, being stern when needed yet friendly and not wanting to lose a friendship due to work.

- Kim Sunggyu | 21 | 04/28/1989 | Mere reading buddies | Sunggyu is a guy who seems to be the exact opposite of Kaeri. Being one who seems to always be involved in the exciting events and happenings yet wishing to only have a simpler life. He has always been a leader sort of person, being able to work well under stress, control his temple easily. He seems almost the perfect gentleman, if not for his lousy way with words. As easy as Kaeri is with words, he always seem to have difficulty getting his thoughts out the way he meant them. Sometimes, when he meant to be nice, his words seem rude and harsh. When he meant to be fierce, he instead sounded somewhat weak and gentle.

It seems impossible for Kaeri to even meet Sunggyu, considering how different their world was. It had been a fateful afternoon when she had sat beside him, due to lack of space in the library to read. There was nothing more than a few exchange of glances with Kaeri finding him too cute for her comfort and eventually moving away to another seat as soon as possible. Over the time, Sunggyu had finally find the courage when the both of them turned out to be reading the same book. Kaeri had started to talk to Sunggyu, finding him interesting as she snorts and laugh every time Sunggyu talks about something which she has an exact opposite opinion about. Their contrasting opinions made their conversation so interesting, Kaeri finds herself, if possible, looking forward to her reading session in the library every time even more, though she's determind not to let the relationship turn into something more.

- Kim Jaesun | 19 | 08/23/1993 | Ex-boyfriend in Singapore | He is a manipulative person, in some sense almost laughably alike to Kaeri. He knows how to use a person, to get more than just benefits and to mentally torture someone. He's not afraid of death, even welcoming it and definitely loves destroying people's life.

For a moment in Kaeri's life, she had thought she found comfort. Meeting Jaesun had seem like such a gift to her, being able to meet someone with thoughts that seemed so alike to hers. Never did she knew that he'd turn out to be the monster whom further destroyed her. At the start of their relationship, everything had seem fine, that's untill Jaesun had demanded Kaeri to cut away from all her friends in her life. He controlled her communication with others so tightly, using threats of suicide if she doesn't listen. The situation went downhill whereby in one accident, with her holding the penknife, Jaesun had 'accidentally' slice his wrist with the penknife Kaer had been holding. He had pinned the accident on her, though with words like 'I told everyone it was not you, though its you.' to make her feel guilty. The only reason she was finally able to broke away was her mom and her moving to Korea.
