Life History:

Just a normal Asian family in the heart of Germany. Before Minhwa was 3, they left Germany and moved back to Seoul. The reason she became a tomboy was because she had lots of guy friends and they would play non-feminine games that shaped Minhwa’s personality like that.

Minhwa was accidentally scouted when she was singing on top of her lungs in her cousin’s restaurant. A talent scout noticed her and asked her to try the audition. At first she didn’t bother to look after it. But eventually, she got curious herself and decided to try it. On the D-day, she woke up late and almost missed the audition. She ran all the way to the audition place and almost ran out of breath when she got there. Fortunately, she passed the audition and became trainee.

 

Personality:

Minhwa is actually a nice, caring person. But she tends to act cold in front of people she doesn’t know well yet. Having many boys as friends, she tends to be tomboy. Is actually clumsy and pretty forgetful. Minhwa is bad at lying, but she can analyze people who are lying to her. A very straightforward girl. Smiles a lot to herself, but she tends to be impatient at times.

Why are they your rival(s): Back in her trainee days they had a little accident. Minhwa ruined Victoria’s dance routine and almost got her knees hurt. Victoria bashed her, and of course Minhwa fought back. Up until her debut they still didn’t like each other, but the public and media doesn’t find out because both act like nothing’s wrong. But Victoria still bashes Minhwa even after her debut.

-       Kim Yoomin | 55 years old | Novel writer | Nice, bubbly, and sweet. Also caring and kind, but sometimes as clumsy as Minhwa. | Minhwa is close to her mother because she spends most of her time in home. They both also love reading and writing poems, thus they usually tease on each other.

Siblings:

-       Yoon Jaehyuk | 22 years old | College student at Seoul National University | A bit cold, uncaring, but he’s actually pretty sweet. He loves talking in English and boasting about his college. | Despite a pretty far between them, Minhwa and Jaehyuk sometimes play video games together and become close to each other. When they were little Jaehyuk was a rebel that would punch anyone who flirts with his only sister.

Family History: 

Grew up in a country she never knew, it was pretty hard for her to adapt. But thanks to her brother Jaehyuk she managed to get through life in Germany. When they moved back to Seoul Minhwa was being very quiet but again she could adapt, although it took her almost 4 years.

Minhwa isn’t very close to her father because he spends most of his time in the hospital. She’s closer to her mother, whose a writer. This family has a habit of listening to radio on 8PM everyday in the living room.

Who supports you being in the industry the most?: Kim Yoomin, the mother always wants her daughter to be a famous singer to channel her singing and dancing skill.

Love Interest: Oh Sehun

How You Met: Kai, being the matchmaker of the group, decided to set up a blind date for Minhwa and Sehun. Minhwa ended up ruining the date and almost burned down the napkins because she accidentally set it on fire from the candles. But eventually, they became really close because of that. Sometimes Sehun would tease Minhwa about the fire incident.

How You Met: One day Minhwa was being a curious cat in her trainee days that she began to peek at every practice rooms existed in the building. She tripped herself into one when EXO-M was practicing. Minhwa squealed and spazzed so much they had to stop their practice for a while. The EXO-M members tried to calm the girl down, and Luhan patted the top of her head. This little gesture made Minhwa hysterical once again and they had to calm her down for half an hour.
