Background: Seo Lina grew up with an uncomplicated life.  It was drama free and Lina liked it that way.  She was born in Seoul, South Korea.  Lina grew up without a mom because her mother died while giving birth to her.  Although there were times when she blamed herself for her mother's death, her father always comforted her.  At the age of 5 her father remarried to a nice woman and she got an older brother.  You would think that her step-mother would treat her unfairly, but her step-mother is actually her mother figure.  Lina sometimes even calls her step-mom "Umma".  Her family is considered to be middle-class.  Growing up, Lina's parents were very supportive with her goals and dreams, but their rules were very strict.  Lina's dad is a computer engineer and her step-mom is a chef.  Because her step-mom is a chef, Lina loves food.

During grade school, Lina was a quiet girl.  Her grades were above average, but she wasn't the smartest kid her in class.  Lina's father and birth mother were both alumina of Seoul University, so of course she would want to go the school where her parents met and fell in love.  Although she doesn't doesn't talk much during her classes her professors say that she does immenselywell, and they specifically enjoy reading her written papers.  Lina sometimes even writes short entries in the school paper, giving advice to students on campus.

Personality:

The Lethargic Introvert; Lina isn't afraid to admit that she can be lazy often.  But although she is lazy, she always follows through requests.  Lina especially values her sleep and food.  When it comes to people she likes she is very giving.  Lina has a strong presence with her sharp stare and witty remarks.  Normally Lina enjoys talking and the presence of other people, but sometimes she doesn't want to talk to anybody.  It's not because she's depressed, antisocial, or mad it's just that she needs to not talk to anybody for a while to be with her own thoughts.  Although people know to leave her alone when she's angry or sad (she can get very violent and harsh), sometimes she just needs for someone to listen to her.  She isn't that sensitive and takes criticism well.

The Prude Realist; Although she doesn't seem like it, Lina is very prude and innocent.  Being the youngest of her overprotective family, she never really learned what "it" was until high school when she heard a couple of kids talking about "it".  When it comes to love, Lina is usually very shy and naive.  She sometimes is oblivious to the feelings of other people.  Lina accepts thing the way they are, and so she never judges by outer appearances.  Lina puts her hopes into things and changes that she knows are possible, but she doesn't try to change something that she knows is impossible or impractical.  She's very rational, decisive, and kind-hearted, but she's also very stubborn.  Lina knows her right from her wrong and she always tells the truth.  

The Eccentric Cutie;  When you ask Lina a question hundreds of random (and sometimes outrageous)  thoughts and possibilities pop into her mind, giving you a weird answer of her random thoughts.  Sometimes her random thoughts will also lead to random actions.   Lina is cute without knowing it.  When she's in a good mood she'll do cute facial expressions and actions unknowingly.  If you tell her she's cute when she's being cute, she'll immediately stop and be serious. Lina is naturally a genial person and she genuinely cares for those who are close to her.  She knows when to be playful and when to be serious.
