SHINee 4th Anniversary :') Superduperlong!

(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p2mfKLhkXCY <--Their jap songs ALWAYS get to me <3)

I'll start first by saying I know a lot of people will do this.

Blog about SHINee and their 4th anniversary.

Just saying, but this will be nothing special

Plus, it's really long. ._.

So. I'd like to say I didn't start in 2008 like the original shawols. I didn't even know about kpop. I joined on April 15th when I clicked on 'Hello'. I liked Onew at first, but I straight away fell in love with Key upon seeing 2:45. <3

Go watch, yeah?

:D <3

I know that's in my personal message or whatever on my profile, but there's more.

I was obsessed with Hello so much that I didn't want to listen to any other song by SHINee. Why? It's a thing. I like one song by an artist or group, and I hate all their other songs. I had so much love for the song that I didn't want to ruin it by listening to anything else.

BUT THEN.

I clicked on Replay by accident, but continuing to listen to that song what the best risk I've ever taken. I fell in love with it as well. Of course I was jealous of Vic unnie. She's lucky. :3

Anyway. I read the comments, and I thought something weird.

Did all fans obsess over their EYEBROWS? All the comments were like, 'OHEMGEE I CAN'T. THEIR EYEBROWS. OTL.'

After that, I thought I'd definitely hate the next song.

Guess what?

I loved it way more than the first two.  LOVE LIKE OXYGEN. Then it was A.MI.GO, then Ring Ding Dong. I have to admit, I didn't like Lucifer or Juliette the first time i heard them, but I couldn't help liking them. Just... they were so catchy. D:

Then after hearing all of that, I decided to listen to Hello again. But what happened? I found not Hello, but Hello Baby. :D

I hadn't learned their names yet, but I could recognise Key. Ish.

I watched and watched until my dad asked why I kept watching korean guys do silly things.

Ugh. Don't get me started on that.

Anyway, when it finished, I felt myself get so SAD. 3

The only thing that was left...

Was to listen to more songs!

Hello Baby led me to Stand By Me and Jojo, and soon enough I was watching Onew imitate Jonghyun. :3

I watched Yunhanam after that, and really loved it. :D Except the first noona. She was weird. Besides that, they were all fun. :D

My friend who was a Taemint at the time decided to give up SHINee and go back to anime. Of course I like anime now, still, but really. Kpop had a bigger impact.

Actually, it had the biggest impact on me.

Before I found kpop, I was struggling to get through my depression stage. It was hard, really. And bobbing my head along to a cute little song was kind of refreshing. :3

SHINee, before my very own eyes, became part of my life. Onew, Jonghyun, Key, MInho and Taemin. They changed me.

Before, you'd see me inflicting self damage because of confusion (hehe pokemon reference) and walked with my head down low, muttering words to myself.

Now?

You see me listening to my iPod, humming along to a SHINee song, laughing at their dorkiness and adorableness. Remembering shows they were on. Remember stuff they did. I smile everyday just thinking about it.

After I watched Yunhanam, it was official. I was a shawol.

I found every song of theirs and downloaded them. Surprisingly, I loved ALL their songs. Nothing disappointed me.

They lead me to the gates of the kpop world, and that's where I found everyone else.

SHINee had always been my favourites though.

I heard they were making Japanese songs too, so I freaked.

FREAKED.

I was absolutely ECSTATIC.

I was there for ALL the Japanese versions of MVs. Replay, Juliette, Lucifer etc. They were all amazing.

None of them disappointed, once again.

I bought their album, of course, and listened to the songs everyday. The one I liked the most was Always Love.

Why?

It sounded like a mix between SHINee, Jpop, Kpop, and something COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.

-

So.

After that I heard there was a new song to be released called 'Super Hero.'

That OBVIOUSLY didn't happen now, did it? xD

Anyway. I stayed up for days waiting for Sherlock, like the many other shawols in the world.

We waited days for it to be uploaded.

And guess what?

I was doing my homework, and I decided to refresh to check if it had come up, since I was doing that every minute. (Procrastination is bliss)

And it was up!

I clicked immediatly, freaking out. I watched it over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over.

I was not disappointed.

I went to the CD shop almost everyday, waiting for the album to be out where I live.

When I finally bought it, oh trust me. I was freaking! (I got both the SHINee cards btw. Like, all of them.) I loved it so much. Listened to each song more than 500 times.

I decided one day to watch it on youtube. I clicked Honesty first, 'cause I heard Jonghyun wrote it for us, being the fans, and by the time the chorus arrived-

"Because you’ve always been there to protect me
Because you’ve taken the criticism that I should receive
You have shielded me without a word and now
I will reflect you like a mirror"

I cried so hard.

They really cared. Really.

After enduring all the racism towards them, we still stuck by them as fans. All of us, we were one with them. And now?

I feel like crying now. It's so happy, but the feeling are mixing with everything else.

I know I won't meet them EVER, but I'll still support them from the sidelines, even if they don't know it, because they deserve it.

Working so hard for the fans, for US.

Don't you think they still deserve the love after all their hardwork and the harsh words against them?

I think they do.

It's your choice if you think they do or not, but yeah.

We, everyone in the SHINee world, is united, whether we know it or not. We're all connected by our love for SHINee, our support for them. We all acknoledge this, that's why shawols are FAMILY. Everyone in the SHINee world is family. Bonded by love.

Onew, I love his dorky awkwardness, his sangtae, EVERYTHING. The best leader someone could ask for. He wrote that song, Your Name. It's beautiful. If you haven't heard it, go. <3 Also, he loves his chicken, doesn't he? Oh Onew. (: Even if he's awkward and falls flat on his face, you can still see the caringness clearly written on his face. He cares for s. He's really protective and a very fun and free leader. Caring. The best leader out there.

Onew taught me to always look up, no matter how hard the world has been on you. FACE THE PROBLEMS LIGHT HEARTEDLY. Let them know YOU'RE READY FOR ANYTHING THE WORLD THROWS AT YOU.

Jonghyun. Where do I start? His blingbling, his swag, his nostrils and his humour. It's so hilarious. Great for variety shows. He also cares for everyone, voted by the rest of the members as being the most caring, even if he didn't think so himself. His voice. It's melting. Raises goosebumps on my arm listening to him singing those high notes of his, that vein popping out. He's giving it his all.

Jonghyun taught me that no matter where you are or what you are, you're EVERYTHING. Don't let yourself down. NO ONE TELLS YOU WHO YOU ARE. YOU ARE EXTREMELY SIGNIFICANT.

Key. The most protective diva in the WORLD. He sings, raps and dances. What more could we ask for? Of COURE he's the ALMIGHTY TRIPLE THREAT KEY. He's so cute and random at times, serious and asdfghjkl when he needs to be, immediately taking up the environment. His English, for one, is absolutely amazing. There's a small hint of an accent, but that just makes it strangely more natural. xD And his Japanese. HIS JAPANESE! It's to die for. Or not. Anyway, it's amazing. Fluent and all. He's so passionate about everything, it's amazing.

Key taught me EVERYONE IS ORIGINAL, and to be PROUD OF YOUR ORIGINALITY. Why? Because there's only one of you. BE SOMEONE YOU'RE PROUD TO BE, AND LIVE HAPPILY AND LIVE WELL.

Minho. His flaming charisma side is melting, but his aegyo side is so adorable. There's so much to say in such a limited space, but I'll try. His sportiness. Even though his schedule is tight, tighter than the average person, he still makes time for the things he's passionate about. He was so shy during their debut days that it was almost painful to see. Thankfully, he opened up to the members, and they're inseperable. Literally. They live together and stuff. And now, he's HILARIOUS. Amazing comedian. xD

Minho taught me to ALWAYS AIM TO BE FIRST, and if you're not, KEEP WORKING TOWARDS YOUR DREAM. If you do, one day YOU'LL GET THERE.

Last but not least, our all famous MAKDOONGIE TAEMINNIE. What's there to say? :') He's grown up SO MUCH since their debut days, and we're all so proud of him. Growing up with a smile on his face, it's everything a fan want to see. He's growing up well. From a socially awkward blinking meat lover, to the best mushroom dancer who loves banana milk. That banana milk's really doing it's stuff, isn't it? He's SO TALL now. :') I thought I was tall. >>

Taemin, what did he teach me? Isn't it obvious? LIFT YOUR HEAD UP HIGH AND SMILE. NEVER FORGET TO SMILE.

I'm sorry that was long and cliche, but really. I felt like it.
