SOUTH KOREA, HERE I COME! :D

Okay, it's nothing much but this morning, Insa-dong was featured on the news. They were talking about how fascinating it was to shop there and my mom saw the news and told me if I want to go to South Korea.

I almost choked up my morning munchies when she asked me that. I wanted to scream yes but I kept compose and said, "Yeah, I want to!"

She asked me the conversion of the money from Dirhams and Dollars to South Korean Won...

And she told me to check out some places in Korea that I would like to visit.

Since my dad also works in an airline company, it's quite easy for us to buy some tickets to SK.

YAAAAAY. Dream come true. Lool.

I think we'll go in December coz my brother loves to go to snowy places.

Do you guys have any idea on some places to visit in Korea? Do share your thoughts!

I personally wanna go to Namsan Tower or Han Gang. It would be so awesome! And I also wanna visit some of the palaces there!

AAAAND, I seriously need to go to Dongdaemun for some shopping!

LOOOOL.

Sorry for the late reply. You just need to buy a t-money card. You can get that in convenience stores like Family Mart. I remember buying my card in the airport after we arrived. You can load it with money then you start swiping. I used it on buses, trains, taxis and even for purchases in convenience stores.

I suggest that you get a map of the subway in the airport. That definitely helps you go around. If you have time I suggest you go to Lotte World or Everland. I also went to the Seoul Zoo. The place is huge and the animals are well taken cared of. They even have a dolphin and sea lion show.

The peope I met in Korea werevery nice and helpful. I'm sure you and your family will have a blast.

@iamjennielee: Waah! I also wanna buy some face goodies! Haha! Do you have an idea on how transportation works in Seoul? I think we need to have those train and bus cards like the ones in Singapore and HK too, right? (I went to SG and HK and it was so freakin' amazing! The ppl and places were so wonderful!) And yes, STREET FOODS ARE A MUST! HAHA! I want to try the mandu and those cute 'lil dumplings! Anyways, do you have anymore suggestions? :D

Ooops... Cont. I meant Faceshop. Still cheaper there compared to the shops in my country. I'm a nerd so I liked the National Museum and the palaces like Gyeongbokgung. If you want to buy inexpensive stuff and wholesale items, go to Namdaemun market. Oh oh. Be sure to try the street foods to complete the experience.

Hooe you have an awesome trip!

Waaaah! Lucky you. All the places you mentioned are good! Namsan, insadong and Han River. When I there I also enjoyed going to Myeongdong to shop for goodies like makeup and moisturizers from Skin Food, Etude, Faceshoo
