Personality: Jaemin is what you could call a "layered" individual. By this I mean that there is more then one layer to his personality. Kind of like an onion, you have to keep peeling back the layers before your reach the heart, and this couldn't be more true for Jaemin. When you first come across him, he can seem very cold and distant. He is one of those enclosed type of people that don't like to be bothered, and seem a bit stand offish at first. Once you are able to penetrate that icy layer, though, you'll find him to a be a rather nice guy. You have to get to know him very well before he'll warm up to. Of course, if you accomplish that you get to see a side of him you'd never thought you'd see. That side being his rather cheerful side. He is a very nice guy once you get to know him, someone that is fun to be around, and very friendly. He may not show it at first but he has a great sense of humor, and an infectious smile that could cheer almost anyone up.

Background: Born on June, 2nd he was born in a small hospital in Shinju-ku. His father full Japanese while his mother was pure Korean, so he is a half Japanese and Half Korean mix. His father was a politicin in Japan, and his mother was a very well renound heart surgeon. He was born and raised in Japan until the age of elevn when he moved to Seoul with his older brother Aaron. Around the age of nine was when he discovered that he was interested in the field of music, and since his brother was moving to Seoul to attend college his parents had decided two years later that he should go along with his older brother, so that he could persue his dream when he was old enough. Once he arrived in Korea, his bother enrolled him in the, "Seoul Arts School" so that he could study the arts. At the age of thirteen he entered his first music contest, and ended up taking second place in the rapping contest. After a couple of years of practice and vocal coching he entered again at the age of sixteen, and this time around took first place for rapping, and second place for singing. A year later, his brother pushed him to audition for one of the "Big Three" companines. He only ended up auditioning for YG and JYP, both companies turning him down thinking that he wasn't ready quite yet, and told him to try again in a couple of years. This eventually lead him up to auditioning for H&H Entetainment.

Style: (description and some pics) Jaemin's style and the choice of clothing he choose to wear is quite simple. He isn't one to dress up for any occassion unless he really has to. Usually, he will sport a simple pair of ripped black jeans, and plain white t-shirt with a hoody over it. He tends to wear two rings on each finger, and has piercings in both ears. A silver chained cross necklace you'll always find around his neck, and a couple of wristbands on each wrist. Habits: Jaemin tends to bite his lower lip when he is nervous, or under pressure. When he's stressed or agitated he plays, and pulls at his hair. If he stands for to long he tends to shift from foot to foot. Also he always carries a comb in his back pocket, so that he can fix his hair on the go.

Fears and Phobias: He has a fear of heights, has bouts of agoraphopia (the fear to leave ones home), germophobia, aracnaphopia, and the list goes on..

Reasons for each fear and phobia: His fear of heights came from childhood. Nothing really brought it on it was always kind of there. The bouts of agoraphobia, are due to the fact that he hates to be is small closed in areas- causes him a lot of distress, but that hasn't happened in the past nine years. Aracnaphobia, was due to a friend leaving the cage open to the spider he owned, and it got out and literally had him running for the door.
