Just a few minutes ago, a friend of mine (who is also a fan of Big Bang and other Korean groups) shared a link to me through FB chat. She said that I should look at the description under the video. Thinking that it is something I could spazz on, I went to the link and was surprised to see a video of Big Bang (particularly Fantastic Baby) being under study by a certain group. They were associating Big Bang to be satanic and an Illuminati member because of the symbolisms depicted on the said song. The video also pertains to other Kpop groups as well, saying that Korean music aims to "hypnotize" the people (or something like that) into worshipping satan. I decided not to share the link since I think it's just not fair. I'll explain myself a while later because some of you may think that by so doing, I'm also being unfair.

My reaction to that video was just blank...as in *crickets crickets. I'll admit that the very first time I saw the video, it brought me a mix of reactions. One is excitement because of the idea that a new MV from Big Bang just came (and you know the feeling of spazzing out by the mere sight of their faces right? haha!). Second, it's kinda different. I mean I just can't explain it straight to the point. Some scenes in the MV are just weird like the dancers in masks and the unusual scene and looks of the boys. Lastly I was just so happy since I really love them. Who can blame me, they're just so adorable in anything they wear.

That's the other thing that striked me. The video also said that the Kpop artists call themselves idols so as to "encourage" or something like that to be into satanic chants or whatever, and the proof (according to them) is the people telling that these "idols" are their "gods." I , myself, never considered Big Bang or any other korean artists as idols but just mere human beings who are famous for their music, and the reason that I loved them are their talents, and their physical attributes (admit it, I know you have the same reasons too hahaha!). I never agreed in calling them idols and godsa because I'm clearly aware that they are just like me if I may say. I may not be as good and awesome as them but THEY ARE JUST HUMANS and not GODS! In fact, in one of GD's interviews, he said that he doesn't want them (the BIGBANG boys) to be called as "idols" but as an artist and his dream is to be a music icon. I admit that I consider Big Bang as the Kings of Korean Music but that's just me being totally bias. Hahaha!

Since I'm a big VIP, I'll just defend them (a bit?). Big Bang, ever since they debuted, are known to be artists who are really diverse in their music. I mean they do hip hop, rock, pop, ballad, electro, and others and that's what I really like about them. They escape from the stereotypical korean music and they like to explore. Fantastic Baby maybe considered as a satanic song because of its various symbolisms but think also of their songs which generally talks about love and hurt, to which people could really relate. We also love their songs because of its good beat.

This kind of stuffs are also being thrown to Lady Gaga, especially nowadays that she's having her concert in the Philippines. I wouldn't say that Big Bang and the other Korean artists, as well as Lady Gaga, aren't into satanic rituals or chants because I DON"T have any idea of what they really do off cam and it's their personal life. I'm just saying that don't just easily get carried away by heresays. Being into satanic acts isjust a matter of choices and decisions. It's not because of the song you like, and those lyrics you sang, and the beats you dance into. No offense to those who are really kpop addict but I'm not even one of those who post the faces of their favorite "idols" in every part of their room and maybe their house. I'm a big VIP and I'm loyal to them. I mean loyal as patronizing mostly of their songs only.

As an end note, I'm not against to anyone or anything. We all have our own opinions and this post is just the outlet of my reactions and emotions. Let's just love each other and enjoy what we want right? Life is full of choices and if you chose to be led astray then youi're a loser. If you chose the right way then of course you're the winner. Let's enjoy life everyone and forever feel the love and mercy of God.
