A look at the future (SPOILER ALERT taken from the epilogue):

“You can always back out now,” she decided. “Now come down and have breakfast with us. We need to prepare you for tonight, understand?” She stood up, her hair shorter than Krystal had remembered it from four years ago, but her smiles were always the same, always pure and accepting. She was glad to have her as a sister-in-law. She was perfect, Yoona was, and her fairytale was already happily-ever-after.

The door closed behind Yoona, and Krystal pulled out from the book the letter she kept reading over and over again until she could remember every dot and quote, every blot of ink that he wrote.

“I can’t love him... “ She quietly spoke, her tears starting to come out. “It’s not that I don’t want to, it’s just that I can’t.”



So as you can see, Krystal will be getting married and it'll be her time to shine in the story. :)

Background canon: Okay, please don't laugh. HAHAHA uhm, my muse for SOTM was Disney's Tangled. The thing where the witch comes in the night, yes I was inspired so much of that. And during that time, I was all DBSK-crazy and Changmin-wide-eyed so I really wanted him to star in a new fic. I wanted to write fantasy, I've always liked that genre, and so I wondered who'd be nice to pair him up. My mind just said Yoona, and I went with that. And Seohyun being her sister... hahaha yes, that was a spot-on idea too, and I decided to write a brother too. :) There are reasons why I didn’t use Korean history for this fic. One because I don’t know a single thing about it (their culture, dynasties, clothes), and yes I am that lazy enough to do some research. Two because Yoona looks absolutely gorgeous in mid-1700 Victorian gowns.

Deleted scenes: Victoria and Kyuhyun should be romantically involved with each other. And Yoona should be romantically involved with Kibum. I had no idea what happened why that doesn't seem to show much in the fic, but yeah, right now it looks better than planned. Kibum wasn't suppose to be Kibum: I THOUGHT OF PUTTING TAECYEON OR MINHO :> but I thought Kibum was more than perfect instead. Regarding Kibum's character, he was suppose to be BAD. LIKE EVIL. BUT SOMEHOW HE LOOKS... SORRY AND PITIFUL AND he appears so much willing to help Yoona and the others. Nichkhun should have been oblivious to the whole rings thing and about Kyuhyun being the lost prince. It should have been revealed at the last part. Er, Krystal was another character that I hadn't planned on putting, along with Sooyoung. They were spur of the moments too. I think it was because I wanted Minho to be KIBUM's character in the story so I thought I could twist in a little romance there. But it isn't the case now. Kibum's character was supposed to be a horse trainer, YOONA'S personal horse trainer. HAHA, not a prince. (conti

(...) I thought of putting parts somewhere in the vacation part but I don't know how to so I just made it look y and appealing as much as I could. Err, Taeyeon and Leeteuk weren't suppose to have twins. Yoona was suppose to appear in the end but she left for Japan. UHHHHHH, yeah it's scrambled I know. Sunye and Donghae should have had a lovechild somewhere in the near end before Sunye left. Haelee was sort of a last minute add on. YONGSEOKYU was already a pretty awesome OT3. Ecckk, I listened to a lot of love sad songs just to write and feel what I had to feel OH FAIL.


A LOOK INTO THE FUTURE? I SUGGEST EVERYONE READ STAND STILL. :) IT'S ALREADY THE FUTURE THERE. :>

Background canon: Perhaps was written even before I finished The Canvas so it wasn't anymore a surprise. It's a sequel to The Canvas that takes place 9 years after SMEU years. Uhm, I had a lot of muses for this story. Like for example, the idea of marriage and I wanted to see Kyuhyun and Seohyun in that situation. The whole theme of the canvas and perhaps thingi was based off on how couples normally get through relationship problems, except in Perhaps I wanted to portray a more 'mature' feature of the characters and I hope I've successfully done it. Each couple will have a uhm... a problem and they have to get through it, love or bonds whatever. Something like that. Most of the chapters were spur of the moment and not initially what I had planned so they may seem off.

Deleted Scenes: LE FUDGE. I had so many deleted scenes for Perhaps. HaeSica wouldn't have gotten together, Luna and Ryeowook were suppose to be together, not Beige, but I ended it with Wook and Beige in the 'supposed dream' of Kyuhyun's. I also hadn't planned Sijoong to be Kyuhyun's son. AS IN NEVER IN MY PLOTTING ISSUES HAVE I THOUGHT SIJOONG WOULD BE THE SON. So that was one of the twists, very unexpected for myself too. Uhm... KYUHYUN WAS SUPPOSED TO DIE IN THE END, NO MORE COMEBACKS TO BE HONEST. Perhaps was meant to be angst-filled, that's why. Err this scene:

I arrived at his grave that morning, holding Sijoong and another baby in my hands.

SO YEAH PEOPLE ARE LUCKY I DIDN'T PUSH THROUGH WITH KYUHYUN DYING HAHAHA. Anyway, there was suppose to be a Christmas scene of Seokyu somewhere in the middle of the chapters but I realize that won't fit the timing of the story. Choonhee's baby was meant to die, though. It was him or Yesung himself. I know I write brutal angst. In the ending before all the dream ended, Onew was supposed to be seen in a bar drinking to himself and then here comes Kari. Err... Sooyoung and Onew were SUPPOSED TO END up together. (continued..)
