SoJin is a fun and out going girl when you get to know her. Nice, sweet, optomistic, cute, she's all of that. She can come off as mean and cold when you first meet her, but she is exactly the opposite. She's suprisingly sweet, considering her past and her family. SoJin believes that in life, we make our own choices, and our own destiny. She sais that "if you sit around and look at the world from the comfort of your home, you won't see the world for what it really is". her out look on life is really positive and peaceful.

SoJin is the nerdy type, that always keeps her head in her books. She applies her book smarts to everyday life. She spits out random info to her friends about the situation that they're in and thinks that she knows everything about everything. Her second love is philosophy, she wants to major in it when she enters college. She irritates her friends by correcting them and telling them her "logical" opinion on everthing.

Although SoJin likes to study, she is also the laid back type of person. She is very calm and collected. background history: SoJin was born into a family of poor farmers, but was placed in an orphanage after her mother died and her father wasn't able to support her. She spent 6 years in the orphanage. When she was finally adopted, her foster family beat her. She ran away at the age of 13.  She lived on her own for a year, selling gums on the street until a wealthy CEO found her and took her in. From then on, she liked a privalaged life, traveling from place to place, learning different languages from around the world, and having the top teachers give her private lesseons. At the age of 15, she found her passion for performing, and sent in a video submission to SM ent.

SoJin was the first to approach Baek hyun. She thought he was shy and quiet, but as she got to know him, she realized that he was exactly the opposite. He was really outgoing and fun, but carried the badboy image, which she hated. SoJin developed a REALLY big crush on Baekhyun, but it seems that he doesn't notice, when in fact he really does, and he likes her also. Her crush on him started to affect her dancing, because she cannot dance, or get close with him because she looses focus and starts to blush. After a while, she starts to distance herself from the other EXO members. Beak hyun thinks it's because she doesn't like him anymore, and his dancing goes down hill as well, untill he can't take it anymore and confesses to her.
