They were ignorant of the dolls abilities and dropped her on their way to see what they did. When one of the people who were chasing them caught up to them, they laughed at how they were ‘playing with dolls’ and took a knife to scratch the back of Chaehee and threw her to them before calling them sissies. She is fairly short and actually quite thin because of her strange eating habits.

Chaehee likes wear dresses that flow at the skirt. Her style is more on the girly side and she actually doesn’t own more than one pair of jeans and a pair of sweatpants. She is almost always found wearing a skirt or dress and she loves to accompany it all with a pair of knee high boots over some knee high socks or in the summer a pair of gladiator sandals. To put everything together, she likes to wear a blazer on top and her pocket watch necklace. Her pocket watch necklace is very precious to her and she likes to keep it with her at all times. Chaehee is always carrying around a buckle backpack – vintage is cute – and you can always find a big fluffy phone charm dangling of her Samsung Galaxy S2. She loves to braid her hair and is always found with her long hair braided. Her look is often called innocent and angelic which she doesn’t mind and blushes at the comments.

Chaehee is a bright girl who likes to look at the more positive things in life. She always tries to please everyone – as a doll that is understandable – and has yet to actually find her own happiness. She tells herself that her happiness lies within other people’s happiness, but has never really felt fulfilled. After helping so many people you’d expect her to at least feel like she was happy from something. It wasn’t as if she wasn’t happy previously but she’s always so worried about others that she never stopped to consider how she herself felt about – for example – running in the rain to get medicine, or going nights without sleeping to make sure everyone is sound asleep. Chaehee would give herself up too easily for others when they need help which makes her someone who people can easily take advantage of. From the many owners she has had, every single time she has met someone new they seem to take advantage of her kindness.
As much as she tells herself she’s happy with just making everyone happy, she is easily saddened. People just don’t seem to understand how much it hurts her to know she’s being used. She it up and she continues to be the way she always is. She keeps things bottled up and smiles her sweet smile for the world to see. No matter how nice you are to people, there are always those people who take your acts of kindness as an act of innocence. She is always being told to stop acting innocent as if she was some sort of angel. Of course it confuses Chaehee wondering what they’re talking about, and she never seems to get that not everyone will appreciate her kindness. When people try to push her away, it only makes her want to be closer to them. When she cries, it’s almost as if the sky turned grey and the world became gloomy. She cries easily because she is saddened easily, so she will just smile and laugh it off. No matter whom it is that tries to comfort her, she’ll laugh it off and tell them she’s fine and that she was just remembering something sad that happened in something she read or saw. Now, it’s obvious she’s lying because Chaehee is a terrible liar. She tries to lie to put people at ease about herself, but it’s evident she’s lying through her teeth.
Chaehee is a little bit ignorant, and isn’t aware of her surroundings a lot of the time. She doesn’t have the radar that everyone else has that detects dislike. When someone is intentionally hurting her from behind the scenes, she won’t be aware that these things are happening on purpose rather she thinks they’re all just really unfortunate accidents. This makes her very gullible and easily manipulate, but at the same time she’s easily confused. She will believe just about everything someone says and it makes her an easy target for bullying. When people have two different stories and are arguing she never knows who’s right and just stands there frozen unsure of what to do while people argue. In the end, if she’s there, the blame is put on her. Maybe she was handed the short end of the stick when the mean and tough genes or whatever were being distributed. She’ll never know.
She is a little blunt but that just comes with not being aware of how others feel. She will often say things without thinking them thoroughly – though she has been practicing on that it slips sometimes – and in turn gets a lot of enemies. She points out the obvious and there are the rare moments when she reveals someone’s true colours by accident without knowing the catastrophe she caused. Though those aren’t her intentions, it happens anyways ‘cause that’s just her. She’ll just walk away from the scene oblivious as to what she just caused. The other Dolls call her the ditzy one. Academics wise, the girl isn’t very smart except at English where she is actually very good. It’s one of her few talents that she has.
She is easily embarrassed. Embarrassed meaning she isn’t good with taking compliments. She will blush really easily, and is always unsure of what to say other than thank you when someone gives her a good comment. In terms of really being embarrassed like by people, she’ll cry. When something really embarrassing happens to her when she’s in a crowd of people, she’ll break down because she doesn’t know what to do. This often gets her laughed at, and further bullied.
This girl is a sap. She loves romantic movies and will go crazy for cheesy stuff. When she watches movies, she cries at all the moving parts whether they’re happy or not, and she’ll laugh really hard when something she finds funny comes up. She is a little easily amused, and that might just be one of her charms. She will automatically smile when she sees couples acting cute on the streets, and she wants to squeal like a school girl when she sees old couples on dates in the park. But of course then she feels upset because she realizes that if she ever fell in love, she’d never get to be with that person because she would have to leave when her owner found their happiness.
Crafty one she is. She is very handy and loves to work with her hands. Sure she isn’t the most talented with paper and pencil – dear lord her hand writing is disgusting – nor is she any good with a paintbrush and canvas, but she is quite the sculptor and potter. When it comes to fixing and building things, Chaehee is an expert. She easily figures out which pieces go where and could be a handy man if she were a man. With all of that said, she is also a very crafty tailor. When there’s a tear in clothes, she’ll be able to mend it right away. If she was any good at drawing, she could very well make her own clothes – and she has helped some of the dolls make their clothes before too. Want a knitted sweater, hat or something? You know where to go now. She’s like a granny with the way she knits. She is quite talented with hairstyling but really only if it involves braiding. She has a strange knack for braiding and you can tell by looking at her different braided hairstyles every day. Makeup on the other hand is not her forte – basically painting to her, and she’d look like an ogre if she did her own makeup – and so she doesn’t wear any. She would love to if someone was willing to help her, but otherwise it’s pretty much impossible. Speaking of things to keep her away from, keep her away from sports and carrying fragile things. This girl is clumsy and it’s a wonder how she hasn’t sewn her fingers into her pants yet. She has had several incidents where she has hit her fingers on tools and tripped on her own two feet carrying grocery bags. She’s not very musical either. Sure she loves music, but she loves listening to it, not creating it.
She is easily petrified. She avoids horror movies at all costs. Things popping out of nowhere even just on a daily basis will bring her to near tears. Blood, gore, violence, all of that stuff, she can’t handle it. Of course, if someone asked her to go, her instinct is to say yes. She can’t say no to people and that’s a big issue – an issue that no one seems to be able to solve.
Although she may not seem very smart – and believe me she isn’t the brightest crayon in the box – she loves to read. Well, romance novels anyways. She can be found in the library when she has nowhere to go, and she’ll just sit by a shelf and read. She is those really soft voiced people. It isn’t like she’s a particularly quiet person, it’s just that she doesn’t talk much is all.
She loves to listen to music – as stated above earlier. But if you’re not the type to love really upbeat happy pop music or really moving ballads, stay away. Her favourite song is ‘Your Doll’ by Sunny from SNSD, and if you haven’t heard it, it’s pretty much the essence of this girl right here. Or ‘Visual Dreams’ by SNSD is another example of something she’d listen to. A lot of 2AM as well, but more of their really moving songs like ‘Confessions of a friend’.
It’s really easy to figure her out if you take the time to get to know her. She isn’t like many other girls with their complex layers of personalities. She’s simple and would be sure to bring you to your happy place if you gave her the chance to do so.
She will – and she has done before – run out to buy you what you need even if it means falling a million times on the way, she’ll sympathize with you when you don’t need pity, and hell she’ll even work until she can’t feel her limbs if it means getting you the few bucks you need for that whatever-it-is that you wanted. She’s just that silly girl who thinks there’s good in everyone without thinking at the same time that when there’s good, there’s also evil.

The relationship between the pair is very close. They stick close to each other mostly because Chaehee is so easily lost and he doesn’t want her to get lost. They are though lost internally when the other is not around and have the feeling that they need the other by their side at all times. They often find themselves thinking about the other often – the latter distracting their minds when they’re supposed to be focused on something else. Because he is a tad shy, it’s always Chaehee who initiates physical contact. She is usually the one to hold his hand first, and hug him when she or he feels happy. They are very understanding of each other and often talk in secret just the two of them at an abandoned tree fort that they found not too far from the school where they chat just the two of them. He’s the first person that she has ever opened up her feelings to and openly cried sadly to him.

Hara is quite popular though not a Queenka – mind you that Chaehee was confused as hell when they used terms like Queenka and Kingka since her knowledge in slang is limited – but has enough friends. She is actually very likeable if she likes you and is used to people calling her the nice angel. She was always known for being kind and generous. She was rich and used her money to help others. On the very first day she went to school with EXO, she offered to help someone with their English work at lunch, but Hara stepped in and said she’d buy the person lunch and she’d help her instead by helping her pay for and hire a tutor. Her friend Gyuri said ‘Hara you’re so nice!’ but Chaehee who is always clueless said ‘What’s so nice about buying her help? Shouldn’t you try to help genuinely rather than using money to win people over?’ oblivious to the fact that she just revealed Hara’s true face. Hara got angry and dumped her water bottle over Chaehee’s head before storming out.
Now, it’s not as if she likes him, but Hara usually is quite flirty around Baekhyun (this can change depending on who is chosen as her partner) to annoy Chaehee who rarely feels upset. She does in the end succeed in getting to Chaehee and orders many things against Chaehee like pranks and such with her goons.
