                Background Info : She was found as an infant wrapped in a thick blanket with pictures of basketballs in the middle of winter in a public basketball. It was because of her cries, 3 young boys who were walking with their parents to go and have lunch near the basketball court had found her. The elder twins boys, Seunghyun and Siwon, who had heard the cries of a baby went to investigate despite the protests of Minho, the youngest brother and their parents. Carefully, Seunghyun picked up the bundle and told his twin to get their parents and he quickly hugged the baby and used his own jacket to keep both of them warm. He looked up to his parents and asked if they could keep her as he had always wanted a little sister to which his parents gave in when all three boys gave them the "puss in boots" eyes. Since then, the Chois have always loved and doted on the little girl especially Seunghyun since he was the one who found her. Despite knowing that she was adopted, Hyesu absolutely adores and loves her family to bits and will do anything to make them proud of her. Her parents have taught her to be kind and humble to everyone while her brothers taught her to be active, out-going, competitive and also to be able to able to fight and defend herself or others in need of help much to the displeasure of the adults because she is the only girl in the family. As a child, she had always had been able to pick up and learn quickly when playing sports or learning something like a sponge and because of it, she is quite smart in her studies and a versatile athlete in all sports including the martial arts and basketball.

How she met him: She was playing basketball with her friends and brother when he was walking along the streets to watch some street games that is being played and Hoya was surprised to see a lone girl running and playing the game of basketball in a courtyard full of guys when one of her friends threw the ball up in the air and she had jumped up and did an alley-oop shot despite her slim body but slightly short stature in comparison with the guys tall heights, she could jump quite high. He was even impressed with her when he watched her again as she defended a helpless child from being beaten in an alley by bullies when she fought them off with her martial arts skills.
