Actually, the author is the deceased girlfriend of AFF's creator. (^.^) She's the reason why AFF was created on the first place.

The people knew that it was the first story in AFF becase of it's url:

http://www.asianfanfics.com/story/view/1

It says "view/1" meaning, it is the very first posted fanfic in AFF ever. I was amzed when I first saw it too.
