This post is just part of my endless rants. My rants could be about stories, idols, fandoms, happenings or anything under the sun. I won't put names so it would be confidentail and to give few respects for those I bash. So for my first rant, enjoy the curse words if you want. :D

So my first post is about the endless chaotic situation of fandoms.

 

This may sound so familiar to you especially to those who are old to say as a kpop fan. It may also sound so normal to you, maybe because you joined them yourselves or your fandoms encountered such craze.

 

Me? I am so tired of it; the endless comparing and showing off of the fans for each idol or idol groups; their unstoppable cursings, irrelevant comparisons.

 

Actually, I just don't get it how you get to compare idols who obviously do different kinds of music. I mean, we shall compare ballad against ballad, acoustic against acoustic and dance group against dance group. Exactly, how can you compare Linkin Park to Adele?

 

I solely feel that you shall end up hating or if you can't, you shall learn to keep it. Kpop is eventually growing and giving the new fans this kind of aura may send them back to their old fandoms. You don't want to stay in a world full or riots and wars right?

 

Also, we have lots of children joining each fandom. When you teach them something like this, it is like you are giving them a gun and asking them to kill a certain person or a certain group of people. You're teaching them to hate those fans you think are your enemies.

 

Kpop is a very colorful world. In every side of the industry, there are too many people to say that shine. Although some of them may still be underrated now, you know they still have the talents. Why would a company produce a group they don't believe is talented enough to survive the fierce competition inside the bizzare industry?

 

And add this. Do you think your idols would be jumping happily if they figured out you are all acting like this against other people? It is a slap to them that they maintained good image for their fans but their fans are acting like this and that. It could make them see that they're gaining lesser fans because you kinda put harsh against other people.

 

I'm feeling happy everytime I see fans from other fandoms love what I follow. It is like a mother giving birth to a new child. That feels great right, especially if you are the reason how she ended up meeting your idols. 

 

I know it may send others fluttered that I even ranted my feelings about this situataion, I just want a place were I can't vent out what I feel. It may sound super strange that I even got time typing and posting this but it's more waste of a time if you bash and degrade other groups.

 

You will say it, maybe not now or not tomorrow but kpop gave you something you didn't get before. Maybe it's for the inspiration you're thankful for; can be because of the ideas you get for every performances of the group; every thought the idols give you; the happiness they send in your heart; the laughs they bring inside your house. A big part of this gratitude is that our idols give us a family that is super big and wide. It's a no-race-to-case basis. There is no language barrier. Our idols give us friends we have never met in person but knows us deeply in our hearts; they inroduce us to people we don't know but share the same feelings with you whenever your idols come with a very tragic situations. Somebody who understands your cries over your biases. We should look closely to these aspects and keep the treasure in it. People who worship idols that you like where in the same craze as you and they are the only people you got to understand your shouts and yells for your idols.

 

You don't want your sisters nor brothers to be bashed right? You don't want your family to be broken, let's just maintain it that way. You don't want it, they also don't want it because if you have a family you protect, shield or treasure, they also have a family of their own. You could join but try not to break them, just see how painful it is for a loyal servant to hear a nomad crash his king in his eyes.
