urgh anyway, it's 14th April in South Korea! and also in Malaysia, of course ^^. let just cut the chase. today is Black Day in South Korea. which is also mean the day that the singles one will be eating jjangmyeon (black bean noodles) together. oh well, this year I'm one of them that celebrate Black Day since I'm single. trolol x)
fyi, if you're in Korea, there's always something for everyone, or at least it is when its come to the celebration parts. they have Valentine's Day which is the day where the girl give a gift or likewise to someone that she liked and White Day for the one that received to reciprocate by getting their significant others gifts. but what happens if you're single?
fear not, there is another day called Black Day which occurs today. if you’re single for whatever reason, you may choose to celebrate this day by wearing black and eating jjangmyeon. the idea behind this tradition is to promote camaraderie between the singles and who knows, you may just find your true love while you’re eating jjangmyeon.
think that's all? you're completely wrong about that since there are actually more. every single 14th of a month, Korean will usually celebrate something (mostly couples). want to know more about the day? just wait every 14th, I'll be posting an entry of it x).
ahh this is so frustrating. I'm just going to make jjangmyeon and eat it. alone; like a boss *flipped hair*
