▲Character Background▲

Occupation: She works full time as a cake decorator at a cake shop that her father owns. She can design any type of cake and make it into reality, as long as she gets creative. Examples of her cakes include: 

[I'm a really big fan of Cake Boss so I'll be using his awesome cake designs.] 

History: Her father was a very great cake bake and decorator and decided to start out in a small little shop. The family pulled some money together and helped him open the business. He designed the most beautiful cakes he can think of and put them on display. Of course, he didn't use real cakes for the display; he used simple old styrofoam. But his technique worked and people started coming in and ordering cakes for birthdays, weddings, and unique occassions. He started the business when Soo Jin was approximately 4 years old. She was always in her father's shop, doing anything he asked her to. Since she was only a little child, she didn't really do much except watch with fascination on how her father taught her mother and older siblings how to decorate the cake. Soon enough, the family, except for her, were experts on cake decorating and making. The texture was just right, and the taste was perfect.

As for her family, she has an older brother named Lee Chang Min (Chinese name = Lee Chang Ming) and an older sister named Lee Cheon Hwa (Chinese name = Lee Chun Hua). She and her siblings was born in Beijing, China but moved to Seoul when she was only 3. However, she grew up knowing only Mandarin, but had to learn Korean when she moved to Seoul for her father's cake shop business. He wanted to find somewhere unique so he and his family can start fresh. Her brother is 25 and is a full-time photographer for weddings, proms, and other things of that nature, but he also does cake decorating on his off time. Her sister is 22 and she is a full-time reporter for the local news in Seoul. She covers the stories from 10 am to 4pm on Mondays through Fridays, so on her off time, she helps her father at the bakery. 

Her mother has always been there for the family ever since her father opened up the business. Even though she is a wonderful cake decorator, most of the time, she feels she is needed at home to cook for her children. Of course Cheon Hwa graduated from university early because she was excited to get her degree, but she still lives at home because she is still saving up for a house. Until then, her parents are more than happy to learn that she's staying with them for a little bit longer. Her older brother already moved out and has his own apartment. He still visits from time to time for his mother's cooking, and he is engaged to his girlfriend of 6 years, Park Shin Na. (I don't think the names are important but I just felt like giving them actual names.) ^^ 

▲Character Personality▲

Personality: She is known as the child in her family, because even though she's 18 in international age, she likes to have fun and be serious at the same time. She is serious when she needs to and is really talented in what she does but she doesn't like to be serious all the time. She always decorates her room in a fun and unique way and enjoys living life and having fun. She isn't very gullible since her birthday falls on April 1st. However, when she is poked at or somebody hurts her intentionally, she will pout until the person apologizes. People usually give in to her pouting within the first minute because her pout is her charm. On her serious side, she has a serious look on her face when she's doing something important, ESPECIALLY when it comes to cake decorating. Whenever she's doing work, she's always a perfectionist, and sometimes, it can get frustrating to herself because she wants it to be perfect but sometimes, it doesn't turn out that way. She has an eye for details, so she sees things other people don't normally care about or point out. 

Public Persona: In public, she's really shy because she doesn't know people who are walking right past her but once you get to know her, she pulls out her pouting and charms. She uses her secret smarts in public (for example, finding out the tax, or stuff like that) that people really don't know that she has since she's always just so childish and fun to be around.

Her likes are completely the opposite of her public persona and her personality. Other than the things that you should obviously like such as family, friends, and that type of stuff, her unique likes are: 

1. Large roller coasters and other extremely adventerous rides (bungee jumping, etc.) 

2. Chocolate. She's a chocolate freak! 

3. Big Bang [the band] ^^ Her bedroom walls and ceilings are covered with posters and she has every single CD they ever released lined up on a shelf. 

4. Horror films and horror novels. When somebody gets eaten, she goes "EW! THAT'S SO COOL!" and stuff of that nature. 

5. The rain. She enjoys the sound that it makes, and it comforts her to sleep on her bad days. Sometimes, she likes dancing in the rain, if it isn't too cold. 

6. Anime and manga (or manhwas, as they're called in Korea). She enjoys reading and watching them in her spare time. 

7. Figure skating. She took lessons when she was younger, but stopped recently but she does figure skate a lot in the winter when her family is out on the frozen lake. 

8. Food. She loves to eat! She has a big appetite but still manage to stay small and skinny. 

9. The smell of flowers. She likes putting flower scented candles in her room because it makes her feel like she's alone in a middle of a field of flowers. 

10. Science and Math. She has a thing for science and math, and she's really good at memorizing and learning about them.

1. History. She thinks History is the most boring subject in the entire universe. Her motto for history is "Since it already happened, why learn about them?" 

2. Beer and alcohol. She has never drank alcohol because she has smelled it before and to her, it is the worst smelling thing on earth. She doesn't understand why people actually drink them. 

3. Smoking. She has never ever smoked and she doesn't plan to because she has inhaled smoke from other people and it smells really really badly and gives her a coughing spasm. 

4. Boredom. She hates being bored. She sleeps when she's bored. 

5. Arachnids, insects, and bugs. 

6. Chick Flicks. 

7. Waking up early. Even though her family open up the shop at 8, she still can't get used to waking up early. 

8. Too much pink. I mean she'll wear pink and loves roses and flowers that are pink but she doesn't like everything pink. 

9. Sports. She simply doesn't understand what's so fun about it. 

10. The dark. It's a stupid thing to hate but she can't sleep in the complete darkness alone. She can sleep if there are other people with her, though. She keeps her iPod in her iPod dock and leave the brightness on full so she can have some light to sleep with.
