Attention rant ahead!


I´m thoroughly disappointed with this comeback. So from the start:

The first teaser of Minho was quite a shock, the second ... oh boy... undressed Taemin, I know he´s grown up now but he´s still the youngest. Well to me it was clear that it was going to be some sort of french-boho  bordello  type of concept. And even though I already hated those locks on Minho I cant deny that I missed Taemin´s Lucifer hair. xD he looks gorgeous with that!!!!

but then... oh boy... it went downhill. I mean seriously, Onew? A blanket? What´s there to hide anyway? it´s not like Minho and Taem were packed with abs. No one expected that but ... sigh... it seems he really got stuck in the mental-youngest spot. =_=
(p.s.: he´s my bias so it does pain me to write that and maybe I only feel so strongly about this because I was ready for an ovary explosion)
Key did a good job though. I think out of all the boys his pictures look best. But I still don´t know what to make of whatever landed under his lips. It´s probably supposed to be a piercing but the skin doesn´t really look like that. But it´s Key, so who knows?

tbh ... I didn´t recognize him right away. He looks like he got a lot leaner and his features look softer. but yeah.

I thoroughly disliked the group shots... the whole hair disaster sans Taemin, is fully shown. Grown out highlights and frizzy looking hair.
We have landed in hobo-hippie land and I am not a happy camper.

I would have tossed all the bad thoughts away if Rino did their choreography (adore her and her work) but no.... it´s Tony Testa... and so far I´m not a huge fan of his choreos.
Why couldn´t SME get someone cooler? with more style?? ... how about IamMe?? Ellen Kim? Nika kljun? There are lots of more talented dancers out there. I know Tony has the reputation.. he worked with kylie minogue and though she is famous she´s not as skilled as Shinee in the dance department (I mean, remember the Lucifer-choreo?!). I´m scared it´ll be memorable moves but lame in comparison to what they did before.

So... it all comes down to one song.

Which is said to be very creative combining 2 songs... which could be a disaster as well. I can´t help but think of SNSD´s "the boys" which sounded like there were 2 or 3 songs mashed into one. Big fail imo. I am really worried this wont work out.

I still consider myself a fan (heck look at my fanfics)...but I have waited for so long and a weird concept wasn´t what I wanted. I would have clearly waited a couple more months if I were then presented with polished stylish looks and an awesome song.

Maybe some of you felt the same? and were a little disappointed too? Or at least confused xD
