Mon nom est Maria

My Name

Is Maria

I can’t  sing

I can’t dance

I can’t speak

I  am a mute

I live on the streets

My mother left me

My father i never knew

But i found this paper

That had this poem

It inspired me to realize

My Name is Maria

That there is nothing wrong with me

That i am perfectly normal

That i can sing

That i can dance

That i can speak

That i am not alone

That i am just like a root waiting to turn Into a rose.
