Kaeri is a smart girl. Being an observant girl, she can easily sense what would tick a person off and what would make a person do what she wants. She is someone whose mood changes in split seconds meaning that she can be all cheerful with you but suddenly turns snappy and mean to you in the next second. Not afraid to resort to any means to get what she wants; which is partly why she is the Beta. Although she has a leadership//Competitive trait in her, she has no problems following rules when needed, especially when it is what it takes to get to where she wanted.

When she is around the Alpha, she knows when to fake her laughter when needed, fake a smile or interest in the ‘oh so boring’ topics she have absolutely no interest in for she know It is all needed to maintain her position as the Beta.

She hardly trusts anyone around her except the brain of the group. Being someone who kept her liking to certain genre of books despite her social status, she finds it easiest to communicate with the brain of the group however their close friendship is only shown when they are alone as she prefers to keep herself close to the Alpha when they are in a group.

Being someone who hates messiness, she is also always nagging at her friends, whether in a sisterly way or in a motherly way, she is always making sure they keep their house clean and their working area tidy. some say she is a cleaniness freak which she laughs it off.

She picks her words carefully whenever she speaks and half the time does not show what she thinks as she feels uncomfortable when someone get too close into her personal space or when the person is able to guess what she thinks. However, she has a soft spot for people who confides in her. Being good with words, she is good in comforting others who are in pain or upset and whenever they confide in her, showing their trust for her, she can't help but reveal a bit of her heart, just a tiny bit, perhaps the part of her that craves for someone to trust and lean on.

What she like most is a walk in the park or just strolling around, alone for awhile and not too long before the loneliness get to her. Being the Beta also gives her the authority to order the students of lower social status around in the school which she abuses at times when it comes to people who had bullied her in the past.

With her way of like, one might thought she is but another airhead, but they would be proved wrong if they were to come up against her. Despite her partying lifestyle, gossiping with the girls and acting as if they were the queens, she is witty and definitely someone who loves to argue. If you ever intend to prove her wrong, well, she will definitely use facts to prove YOU wrong back.

Although she is now the Beta of the sisterhood, she still have the fear of being left alone, hated, bullied and teased in her, hence unable to really stand up against the Beta with her opinion till she met him.

Background:

God seems to have forgotten to arrange Kaeri’s life when she was young. Her dad was nowhere to be seen since young as she moved around with her sick mom. In school, she was always bullied and teased. Once, the boys threw all her stuff into the pond. That made her cry, yes the girl who don’t ever cry, cried. The stuff that the boys threw were bought by the money her mom made by working hard even though she is sick, causing her illness to deteriorate overnight. Of course, the boys were ordered to do that by the then Alpha and forever Alpha of the area. When her mom died because of the illness, her dad appeared. Just like that, her status changed, from the poor, unwanted and unlike girl, she became the overnight princess, owning the newest branded bags and clothes with a mere snap of her finger. She swore she will never be looked down upon again, and the only way? up to the Alpha. She did that, she became best friends with her, even though she hated her to the core. And now, she is ready to take over her.

Sungyeol: Sungyeol is a normal cheerful guy who just moved in next door. Almost similar past to Kaeri, he had been bullied and teased, he had also been there when he saw Kaeri being bullied. But at that time, he had no ability to help her, causing him to blame himself for it. His parents sold their field and hence became an overnight millionaire. Despite his past, he grew into a good natured boy when he met his friends who formed the group infinite. He likes to help people who are stuck in bad situations and gives advice. Have a liking for cooking hence he always make bentos for his friends.

Taemin: The fortunate guy since young. Born into a wealthy family, he grew up under the protection of his loving family and friends. Never ever experienced bullying before but don’t underestimate him. He is a sensitive soul and loves cheering people up. His friends that formed the group SHINee always dote on him as he was their baby. Although he is often seemed as a weak guy who only knows happiness, he strives to become a man who can protect his family and friends, maybe his wife, when his father’s business meets a crisis.

Sungyeol: Being the friendly guy he is, the moment he moved in, he went to knock on her door to greet her. The first impression she had of him was he is but another way too cheerful guy for her as she merely smiled and greeted him and walked off, leaving him standing by the door. Determined to make her his friend, he could climb from his balcony to hers almost every night, knocking on her window to get her attention. That irritates her for awhile but when he caught her crying for some matter, and he comforted her, she thought, maybe just maybe, he can be her friend. That’s how their friendship starts.

Taemin: A dare from the Alpha was to get one of the guy’s numbers from the SHINee group, wanting to show that she can do it, she went to Taemin and asked for his number which he gladly gave. Nope, she did not text him to start the conversation and had put the dare to the back of her mind when Taemin suddenly approach her the next day asking why she did not text him. Surprised, she made excuses such as losing her phone and what not. What’s even more surprising was waking up on a Saturday and seeing Taemin in front of her door, all dressed up. After a short greeting conversation, she realised he was her neighbour and actually had wanted to talk to her for a long time, and he had came to ask her out to play with his friends, SHINee. Thinking it could be another dare invitation and something to brag to the girls, she agreed. She however, enjoyed herself so much she could not believe she was laughing genuinely for the first time

suggestions: Between Alpha and beta, you can make a scene of where the Alpha is bragging away to her while she seemed bored, which is how the alpha could realise that the Beta doesn’t seem to be interested in her anymore. Also, the balcony scene, passing notes and the Beta could be shy or even pretend to not know Sungyeol in school because of his low social status.
