So I Was Kind of a Half-Savior, I Guess...?

There's this 82-year-old lady two houses up from me. Let's call her "M." Well, she's fallen three times around the bathroom portion of her house, but this time is the third and only one where I was able to help.

Three firemen were outside the house. One at the door, one in front of the garage, and one on the side of the house. I was just running up the street in slippers when I yelled, "Need help?!"

The one in front of the garage (let's call him "F1.") turned around and asked, "Yeah, do you know how to get in?"

So I smiled proudly and opened up the garage with the code. They all thanked me and went in. I tried not to follow, but I couldn't help it because of M's dog, Lola. I knew how much Lola would get riled up over so many people in the house at once, so I went in to calm her down. I sat and listened to the firefighters talk to her. Soon, paramedics came and they talked to her as well. She was reluctant to go to the hospital, so they couldn't do anything. But M's daughter, "C," suddenly called. F1 started to talk to her, and I wondered if she'd come to convince M to go to the hospital. Sadly, she wouldn't give in.

The paramedics said that her kneecap was out-of-place and that her hips weren't in the right spots, but they couldn't do anything to get her to oblige to their pleas. You see, where I live, there's this law where officials can't take anybody out of their home--or any place for that matter--or else that's some sort of offense. So she's still home and not fixed.

I'm so worried. ;~;

I hope she's alright (although I doubt it). I'll be sure to check up on her when I can.

So can I be counted as a half-savior or something? I feel happy I could help. ^^
