Last year, I was watching some Jpop videos cuz the music was in a Jdrama i was watching, and people were commenting on how the used to listen to jpop but now listen to kpop, so i looked up kpop, and on the wiki page for it, it had a picture of Jonghyun from SHINee, so on YouTube, i looked up SHINee, and started watching Lucifer. I was surprised on how much more popular it was than jpop, since at the time, Lucifer had 14 mill views, where jpop (well at least what i was listening to) had no more than 100 k views. it took a while to get used to the sound of the language since i was used to japanese, but i soon fell in love with it. later on, i realized shinee wasn't the first kpop group that i listened to, it was actually DBSK, since they did openings for One Piece.. No wonder the videos for those songs had more than 1 mil views, i was shocked by that at the time... anyway i hope to continue loving kpop ^^
