Same as any other girls out there, Elaine is a cheerful-outgoing girl who is hardworking in all the things she does. The trainee’s parents taught her not to be spoiled and if she really wants something she has to work hard for it. Whether it would be having good grades in school or something else. Elaine has a driven personality, Since she wants to be involved in the entertainment industry she was taught to be open minded in all the criticisms she will receive and use those criticisms to motivate her to do better. She would like to describe herself as a deep kind of person.
This girl has a positive outlook in life, Elaine can be seen as a deep kind of person and she doesn't believe in bad luck nor in good luck. If things don't go the way she wanted to, she analyzes first on what went wrong then she analyzes what she did to make that happen; Before she makes a move to set things right.
She has a negative side though. Being impatient is one of them. Elaine has trouble waiting for people, she dislikes it if someone asks her to meet them and she will be the one to arrive early. Elaine doesn't like it when things are at a slow pace, she doesn't like beating around the bush. Elaine wants things to be done immediately, Unless it was a sunbaenim or a staff member she tolerates it. Her impatience leads her to become anxious, which sometimes causes her to over think. She is also a bit selfish when it comes to her favorite food such as Sisig, tteokbokki, or siopao. Even any personal items of hers, like clothes and make-up (She says it's because of hygienic reasons). Though there are also times when she gets a bit aggressive whenever she plays games on her phone she likes to beat her high score, She is quite competitive.
Her being competitive isn't really a bad thing, She just likes doing her best in everything she does. Elaine doesn't like to do things half-baked. She doesn't want to show that she trained for nothing. Despite being all smiles and optimistic, She can get really insecure. She doesn't like to show it to others and burden them with her own personal problems. Elaine sometimes likes to lock herself in her room and cry it all out. To Elaine the only person who is her true rival is herself.
BACKGROUND
Elaine Marquez was born into a family deeply rooted in the medical profession. Growing up, Elaine’s family was bustling with hospital life. Her parents are doctors; her father is a pediatrician, and her mother is a dermatologist. Elaine lived a comfortable life as her family owned a hospital, which was passed down for many generations.
Yet, amidst the clinical corridors, Elaine grew up familiar with. She found enjoyment in singing and dancing. Her family has a karaoke machine tucked away in their garage that she likes to use at every family event. Her joy for music blossomed into a passion. Elaine eagerly joined her school choir. Meanwhile, Elaine lent her voice to the church choir on Sunday mornings.
During Elaine’s high school years, the rise of K-pop and Korean dramas swept through the Filipino youth, captivating their hearts and minds. She was no exception and found herself enchanted by the memorable melodies, dashing choreography, and captivating performances by Korean idols.
Inspired by the K-pop idols she admired on screen, Elaine dreamt of doing the same. She mustered her courage and auditioned for MNL48. Though she was one of the strong contenders for the group, she did not make the final cut.
Still determined, Elaine sent an audition for MLD Entertainment when they announced auditions for global trainees. Elaine saw it as a sign that maybe she was meant for bigger things. Months have passed since Elaine sent in her audition.
The young girl was about to give up on her dreams and continue the family legacy by studying medicine. Surprisingly, MLD Entertainment reached out regarding her audition and mentioned that she had passed. Her parents were not against Elaine’s decision to put a pause on her education. Still, she was reminded not to regret her decision to pursue a career in the K-pop industry.

Elaine's Older sister or "Ate Frankie" she likes to call her. Whenever Elaine feels lost or needs advice, she runs to her older sister as she feels that her older sister understands her the most. Her older sister was the first one in the family to not pursue a career in medicine, and it made Elaine realize that she too can pursue a different career.

Trainee and/or idol life :
She trained everyday from 9 am to 8pm (and somethimes during the weekends. She has language lessons on top of Singing and Dancing lessons. Her language lessons lasted from 4pm to 8pm.
At first it was hard since training is harder than Elaine thought it would be but eventually she got used to it. She had to live in a dorm with other trainees. She loves food but she had to give it up when they were told to follow a strict diet.
Whilst staying in MLD she trained hard in singing, It gave her sore throat experiences that she even almost had to go to the hospital because of it. Prior to training, Elaine has never received proper singing lessons except for the ones she learned from her school choir.
Elaine also took some dance lessons and was trained to sing and dance at the same time. It was hard at first since the young girl barely has any stamina for dancing alone.
Life on Genesis88 :
As soon as Elaine stepped in, other trainees were surprised by her bright aura. She took a seat at the low ranking chairs before her audition. She honestly doesn't have much big expectations for herself as she knows other people trained longer than her.
During the competition, Elaine is very open to help other trainees with their missions as she believes one of the big essence of K-pop is teamwork. She would help them whenever its a mundane task or their mission from the show.
Elaine tries to show her versatility in the show. She isn't afraid to be her true self as she is a very candid person.
The audition :
Elaine walks to the center of the stage with a bright smile on her face. "Annyeonghaseyo! My name is Ella from MLD Entertainment," She greeted everyone.
When she was asked to perform, she smiles before taking her position on stage. She sang "All About You" by Taeyeon. Her vocals were sweet and she was able to resonate the feelings of the song. However, since she chose to showcase her vocals, Elaine was not able to show her dance skills like the other trainees.
After she was done, the mentors gave their criticisms and no matter what evaluation she received. Elaine smiled and thanked them before walking off the stage.
