darling is a , general, , semi-literate krp based on mewe. our goal is to offer a chill and laidback home to muses while engaging them with events and activities. our activity checks are easily achievable and reasonable in order to fit into our members' schedules, keeping the community active without it being too much. that being said, would you like to ride with us?

general rules

considering the nature of darling and to guarantee the safety of our roleplay, as of now, we are accepting muns and muses of and above the age of 21 only. any idols, actors and actresses of the korean entertainment industry that are currently active are welcome to join — that includes enlisted idols still signed under a label. influencers, other internet personalities (youtubers, etc), idols involved in major scandals, married idols, the deceased and those who do not wish to be roleplayed are banned from our community.

although we are a roleplay, that does not mean our focus relies on ual encounters. we highly encourage our members to mingle and make meaningful connections, therefore we have a dating ban of 3 weeks — use this time to chat with different muses and build friendships, those are extremely important for a fun experience.

respectively, our marriage ban is of 6 months. we do accept moving couples, however, so feel free to join us with your partner(s) but state in the application the name of your significant other when sending it in. pregnancies scare plots (as long as both parties consent to it) are okay, but actual pregnancies are strictly forbidden as well as sharing pictures of children.

all members, ic and ooc, will be adults, therefore, as of now, we do not have an rule, but be mindful of potentially triggering gaps for the comfort of the community. currently, we are allowing each mun to take up to two muses right of the bat, given that they are from different groups, but activity has to be met in both accounts. we expect muns to have appropriate knowledge about their claims so as to keep some amount of accuracy (small twists of creativity are welcomed, too!) while being respectful towards the idols they are portraying. you may request for a character change up to twice a month with a gap of one week in between the requests.

upon joining, we require that you keep whatever previous drama existent behind. we won't tolerate gossiping about other roleplays or purposeful exclusion of people due to rumors spread elsewhere. give everyone a fair chance, which means get to know them properly before making assumptions or having opinions on them. if found disrespecting these rules, you'll be issued a warning and, if the situation persists, we reserve the right to remove you from our community.

the basics of roleplaying still apply within our community: no god modding, ic and ooc mixing, metagaming, face/shipchasing, bubble roleplaying, harrassment, plagiarism, ooc drama. keep things respectful at all times, even while solving issues. we expect muns, as we are all adults, to resolve issues between themselves (always privately!) in a cordial manner, but do not hesitate to reach out to us with proof to your claims so we can intervene.

if a member refuses to talk things through, bring it up to us. we are all adults and able to communicate through our differences. while we don't expect you to be best friends with everyone, you need be able to tolerate other members without snappy comments or bullying. if seen fit and depending on the gravity, we reserve the right to immediate of all parties involved in whatever kind of drama.

our main focus is on in-character relationships (platonic and otherwise) and making sure our members build connections that can last, thus all out of character communication should be kept to a minimum and privately only as we will not have an ooc-dedicated group. additionally, make sure to protect your out of character information, especially in settings not moderated by us (games outside of mewe, hyperbeam, etc). we can only help if it happens within our community space.

no stealing our members for other roleplays. we came to notice that it is a trend now to go into agencies and steal members away to other roleplays. it's okay to invite one or two close friends of yours to other roleplays in wish for a ship or to keep a connection, but going out of your way to recruit active members to join to your new roleplay is forbidden. caught doing so, you will be removed and blacklisted. however, if you want to promote your roleplay - ask permission from zero sixteen before advertsing. if given permission in their response, you can proceed with doing so.
