If you're into realistic writing and don't care about fcs, forced romance/ and shallow connections, click on this.

Foreword

Writing this in a moderate fit of overwhelming disappointment, so do excuse the potentially bad vibes. I am normally patient and understand, Istg.

Anyways. As the foreword suggest, I am absolutely sick of shallow connections between muses, that almost entirely rely on the faceclaims in use. So, that having been said, if you are someone who cares about the faceclaim of the character you're writing with, exit now, because this is for sure not the ad for you. My fcs are almost exclusively Western males, and I focus on the actual characters, rather than the fc itself, so if you're the face-chasing sort, click out of this — I'll know, and I am genuinely not about that anymore. Also, it goes without saying that I won't gaf about what sort of fc you use, either, as long as they are of legal age, and you yourself are also a grown adult. 27 OOC, I would prefer to write with writers around my age or older, but I won't reject you because of younger OOC age either — I just tend to vibe better with the old dogs, I've noticed. Regardless.

There are currently two OCs that I'm interested in writing with, both human, and I warn that I do not create new characters for the purposes of a plot working. I would prefer if you already had OCs of your own that you could throw at me, instead of creating someone brand new to complement or antagonise mine — chemistry between characters is nice when it is explored, not when it is forced. Both of my OCs are difficult in their own unique way, so keep that in mind; I don't like easy, I don't like convenient, I'd much rather our characters hate each other's guts than a connection being forced when the chemistry is simply not there. Also, I use a lot of NPCs and tend to insert other OCs in my writing, so it'd be appreciated if you could do so, as well, so the world can feel somewhat real/more organic, and not just a bubble in which our main muses are trapped in.

More details on the actual OCs can be provided in private when the time comes. Full muse bios may be provided if you pass the OOC vibe check, but that's not a promise, either.

For some years now, I like to announce that I enjoy writing about the human experience — as we all know, that can be more than messy in real life, and as someone who values realism above anything else in my writing, I refuse to dumb down triggering topics for the purposes of convenience or comfort. I write about real topics. Crime, addiction, religion (and the nuances of it), work, mental health problems, political views, death, loss, real world issues, disappointments and disheartenment, all of it sprinkled atop the usual slice of life I tend to go for — descriptions on triggering topics can be graphic/realistic, so bear that in mind. Replies usually come every few days, unless I am really into the plot, in which case I might be quicker too. Semi-para to para, depending on what's going on in the plot, third pov narration and present tense. You can write in past tense if you prefer it, but I will not be mirroring. I value descriptions a lot, and if your muse is an observant person, that is always a plus. Down for slice of life, crime, humour, angst, adventure, , and even romance, as long as the chemistry evolves organically and it makes sense.

All that having been said, my biggest pet-peeve is when my writing partners force the plot to solely revolve around their OC. Writing is an exchange, a dialogue, not a monologue that one side delivers, and the other one simply responds to. Your OC can, of course, be a self-centered person, that's different — it's the OOC mutual interest that I'm looking for, how the characters will interact between themselves is another thing. Besides that, obviously god-modding and metagaming are huge no-nos, and that also extends to the NPCs I use. Basically, my creation = my control, don't write my characters for me, please. Even if it's a pet, I'm serious about this. Of course, it goes without saying, the same courtesy will be extended to you. If you give no effort during the plotting process, I will most likely ghost you.

Platforms can be discussed in private, as well.

In a nutshell, if you are looking for real, you're in the right place. Feel more than free to send me a private message.

P.S.: If we've briefly written together before and either one of us ended up ghosting, no hard feelings from my end — inspiration can be a fragile thing, no shame is clocking out of something that you're not feeling anymore.
