jongsu's childhood was marked by him never really fitting in. he was the kid from another town. he spoke differently. he had only a mother. he acted weird. no matter what he did he was singled out. the only place he had peace was with his friends sungjin and junho, in the tiny corner shop where sungjin's grandma selled side dishes. they were always there ofr each other no matter what live threw at them. sungmin was always the more idealistic (maybe because he was the youngest and more protected) and thus when they grew up and with it came the news that people could turn into superheroes, jongsu was convinced by his younger friend to join, because then they could do some true good in the world. and so they did, for a while. the three of them successfuly got powers and were working as heroes, even being put in a tentative team of South Korea's own avengers. but then sungmin's powers and body started to fail him. the scientists and doctors in the might eventually gave up on trying to save him and jongsu had to watch one of his best friends die a slow and painful death. he would never forget this. to make things worse, not long after they buried sungmin, his team was sent on a mission that went completely south. junho got separated from the rest and stuck under rubble. at first the others made an attempt to help him, but things kept getting direr and they left "because they had their orders to follow". they tried to bring jongsu with them, but he wouldn't have it. he used his powers to get away from them and to search for junho on his own. he finally found him, in a very sorry state, and again used his powers to bring them to the closest hospital. he had hopes at first but junho's condition kept getting worse because of the severity of his injuries. jongsu was desperate to not lose him. junho also didn't want to die yet. the doctors didn't know what to do anymore and they (junho and jongsu) knew that the might didn't really care about them. so they left. junho used his powers to survive and jongsu used his to get them out and latter to keep them hidden from the might. exausting his powers in such way was probably why latter he would need it to survive.
so they fled and hided, took care of their injuries, gathered forces and resources. they kept a low profile and got involved with the crime scene, quickly rising to power and using the gangs as their means to an end. they became true crime lord super villains, and now they are comming back to public to make the might pay the price they think is due.

Personality expanded — the first thing about him is that he's vain and domineering. he's the center of everything and he must be in control of everything. his greed will make him go for whatever he covets next and he will do anything to achieve his goals, not matter over who he will need to step on. unless he can use that person or situation for his own interests.
on a less intense approach, he dreams big and he's confident and charming enough to pull people in, to make them listen and he's also able to reason with them. he also has a creative side that makes him come with unique ideas and that also supports his artistic interests.
but most of all, he thrives in drama. if his life had gone differently he probably would be in theater or anything related to it, because he likes things big and showy and dramatic. the biggest the twist the better. the bigger the shock the better. he likes to incite emotions in the people around him. no one will ever dismiss and pretend that he's worse than nothing, ever again.

meaning of name: the ouroboros symbol represents, between many things, creation. so it's a fitting name for someone that can create their own dimensions.
intention(s):
— he originally joined the might to follow and support the dreams of one of his best friends.
goal(s):
—to bring down the might, 777 and the real. and maybe world domination, he's still considering it.
power: dimensional manipulation
abilities:
— he can manipulate dimensional barriers, creating portals to alternative dimensions wherever he wants.
— he can use said portals to move around in inconventional ways (ex: pass through a solid wall or floor and then appear somewhere else)
— he can create his own pocket dimension where the laws of physics, space and time follow his own orders.
— he can use his own bubble pocket dimension as a shield.
weaknesses:
— he cannot survive for long in the alternative dimensions, so he can only use them as "bridges" to jump from a place to another in our own reality.
— he cannot create more than two pocket dimensions at the same time.
— since his lair is one huge static set pocket dimension, and he always has another mobile pocket dimension around him, he's always at this limit, and thus has to bait his enemies into entering in the range of his mobile pocket dimension to physically attack.

side effect(s)
— lunacy, as a side effect of going through so many different dimensions. plus the fact that he can't really survive long in our dimension anymore either. that's why he's always surrounded by his own bubble pocket dimension, because that's the only place where he's safe. he encourages his enemies and other people to think that the distortion dimensional bubble is just for dramatic effect, but the checkered is the only one who knows the truth.

kim sungjin - best friend - phantasm
sungjin was the friend that got junho and jongsu into the programm. he was the one with the big dream of being a hero and making the world a better place. he truly was the heart of his trio of friends. he got teleporting powers, and for a while his dreams were reality, working alongside his friends as superheroes. but then the side effects of the serum hit, and with each time he used his powers it only got worse. he died in a hospital bed in a painful and gruesome death, since his cells on a molecular level were getting incresingly unstable and collapsing. junho and jongsu never forgot his pain and how the cientists and doctors just washed their hands on his case, deeming him a lost case and not even attempting on fixing the problem that their own serum created.

junho/checkers is the only person that jongsu can say he cares about. they went through too much stuff together. usually someone with a personality like the one the checkered has would conflict too much with ouroboros, but he understands that the younger is doing the best with what he has. it also helps that checkers listens to him.

the ramaining two from the original and failed supergroup, they are currently on top of the hit list of both the checkered and ouroboros. jongsu is not particular about who is his target, so he let checkers have his fun and he rather enjoys comming up with ways to make the real's powers innefective of malfunctioning using his own ability of dimensional manipulation.
black wing & solar flare - heroes
two of the seven from the tentative superhero group the migth tried to create with their more powerful supers, they were quietly hunted down and killed by the checkered and ouroboros. the might knows there is something weird with the sudden death of two of their supposedly more powerful heroes, but they can't really prove anything or know where to point their fingers at either.

her attempts to make her point are amusing but lack inspiration and finesse. by pure interests in her abilities and the numbers of supers she has, he's willing to offer an opportunity for them to work together to put the might down. he of course would be the main mastermind and boss behind everything.

jongsu can appreciate the drama of ice prince, but he thinks he's rather mediocre with his ambitions. he seems him as a lower class villain who is not worth that much attention.
