My thoughts on Rowoon
I'll admit that I wasn't a fan of SF9 until about a year into their career in 2017, partly from stepping back from kpop in 2016 for personal reasons. However, since becoming a fan, I have never wavered, my love for the group becoming stronger all the time. Rowoon became my firm bias early on, from his quirky, yet gentle personality, topped by his good looks and great singing voice. He's easily one of my top biases in all of kpop, and SF9 is still one of my top groups that I stan.
When I heard the news that he had left SF9, I was saddened, since I won't get to see him in the group anymore. However, I had seen it coming, with his back and knee pain getting worse and also the hate he had received from antis who wanted him to leave. I think that these are all things that pushed him to leave, but I'm not entirely convinced that FNC didn't have something to do with it, since he might "damage the group", and they had already planned comebacks that didn't work well with his drama filming...that had been set up FIRST, so I saw that as unfair to him.
All in all, I hope that he can be more comfortable physically and mentally, and that the rest of SF9 will continue as a group for a long time, as Rowoon continues as an actor. I will always be a Fantasy, supporting SF9 and Rowoon in all they do ❤️.
Here are some of my favorite performances and moments with Rowoon.
O Sole Mio Dancing Dress Room (This was hilarious.)
Good Guy (This is one of my favorite songs of SF9's deserving of their first win.)
Summer Breeze (I LOVE this song. It's one of my favorite kpop songs.)
Tear Drop (There was a big change in Rowoon's mobility range during this comeback, indicating pain.)
Trauma (Again, there's a change in mobility, which is sad.)
Puzzle (Sadly, this was Rowoon's last promotion with SF9. It was a fun one, though.)
Puzzle Performance Video (I found it funny that Rowoon was almost as tall as the lights on the ceiling.)
Puzzle MV (This is the only MV I'm including, since it was Rowoon's last with the group.)
No Goodbye in Love (As close to a solo that he ever had, even though he deserved a solo debut.)
